For the new members here, I'm just curious if anyone else was scarred by/obsessed with the real-life "Red-hot "I"" or "I-beam" film from the late 70s that was shown thru the mid-90's. I'm looking for any info on that film. I had Sesame Workshop burn that film to dvd for me a few months ago...

i think it actually all depends on what age you were when you first saw this, a lot of people were older than say, toddler age, when they first experienced this film.....i probably first saw this film in 1979, when i was two. I dunno, just something about the music and how the camera was always...

I saw "I-beam" or "red-hot I" on unpaved 2 years ago and it STILL scared me. I didn't think it would be on but the showed it at the very end. I honestly think that film was made to intentionally frighten kids.....anyone else agree. Oh- by the way, i know some people have asked where that was...

the quality couldn't get any better.....it's a dvd-r, with scene selection menu and the label on it has the SW logo and the names of my clips.

SS workshop charges $7.00 per clip, plus money for the tape or dvd. That dvd with the 5 clips cost me $50, but it was well worth it, as those are my favorite sketches and all have been "retired"- will never air again on a new episode. I'm not sure if they will do this for a lot of people...
