Re: stand firm
I agree totally. I also think that if you have to see it that badly, you can rent it for now, it's not the same but it'll do for now.
Fight the occupation!!!
Oh, uh, I mean....
Fight the pan and scan!!!
There we go.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I plan to watch it again, and hopefully even buy the DVD at some point. Of course, there's plenty of other DVDs out there that I have to buy too, so we'll see what happens. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't seen Muppets From Space yet. ;)
Well, I've only seen The Muppet Movie once a long time ago so I don't remember that exact part whereas I've seen Muppet Christmas Carol countless times, so therefore I remembered it more.
My apologies.
I've always loved the one shot from The Muppet Christmas Carol where Kermit (as Bob Crachet of course) standS in the street and looks up at the sky with the shooting star flying by.
I though that was a cool little shot, in fact, I wish I had a vidcap of it.
Right back atcha Foz
Ahhh yes, my favourite movie ever, my VHS tape of it is worn out beyond belief and it was the first DVD I ever bought (although it was overpriced and had no special features, I couldn't go without it.)
But I do see what you mean unfortunately...
First post folks, go easy on me...
Personally, I think that it shouldn't just be a Muppets fan thing, anyone who considers themself a movie fan should be making sure that these movies are released on DVD as they originally presented.
To me, it doesn't make sense that Disney is doing this...
