Wow! I don't know why I didn't think about it for horns! Thanks!
And sculpey is so far the best suggestion I had! Thanks a lot! By the way, do you know what nicky and ohter character like kate eyes are made of? The white part...
Are you talking about the shaggy fur? Because I bought 2 yards for Trekkie and it was only 2". It's ok for Trekkie but not long enough for nicky :(. Do you really think eyes can be made of foam? I was thinking about making them with wood.
Hi!
I need some help because I can't find a great fur for my Nicky replicas. It's suppose to be dark brown and 3" long.

here is a picture...
And what should I take for the eyes?
Thanks a lot!
Hi!
As some of you probably know, I'm working on making Avenue Q puppet replicas for a short Quebec adaptation.
I am now working on 4 puppets (Kate, Trekkie, Nicky and Sunshine: My first own puppet!) and I need some help to get the materials. :(
For Trekkie, I Don't know what I should use...
I don't read the whole topic but you can take a look on my photobucket account (http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk162/Darkranth/)
I'm making a big boobs girl named victoria. Maybe it can help you?
She's naked on the pictures but I will soon post new pics with her dress
Ok... So now I have a problem... The fur I want for trekkie Monster is not avaible on ebay anymore. I tried to contact the seller (big4fabric) but they didn't reply yet.
Did someone have a good adress for cheap fur? Mendel's looks great but it's too expensive...
Please... It's for a school...
I've posted some pictures of nicky and kate monster.

Tell what you think!
Oh and the doll fur is only 2". I don't think that's enough... And I don't want to spend 30$ for a big piece a fur, so I wonder if someone have some little pieces of...
It's hard to tell if the adaptation is good because, there is a BIG difference between french from France and french from Quebec. We don't have same expressions, not the same accent (not at all!) and some words don't have the same meaning. I don't really like the Paris version but it's because...
OMG! Last friday I did my first performance with nicky. I sang "if you were gay" in french... That was AWESOME! Everybody liked it, I received really good comments, I just can't wait to do it again!
Be careful Quebec! Avenue Q is coming! Yeaaah!
Thank you! For the nose I just took two pieces of fleece and sew them together and I put a styrofoam ball in it. But all the face is only temporary. It's not the material it's use to be. For the beard I tried to make a line in my sewing but can't barely see it. I tought I could sew an other...
Yes I can take some photos. I could use a photohoster tomorow.
I received my response for the fur and it's 2" long. Do you think it's enough?
Today I made the first hand... It's cool! I felt for the first time that I was really manipulating a real puppet!
I already knew for eyes made from spoon but nicky's eyes don't have the shape of a spoon actually. Maybe I should make it with wood?
And I still can't find Nicky's hair... I think I could buy it from clothdollsupply.com but I'm not sure if the fur is 3" long so I sent an e-mail. I'm waiting...
I bought fleece on friday and today I covered my Nicky foam head with it. You were right sewing is not hard. Once I learn the way to do it it was really easy.
So now I need fur for the hair. Where did you get yours Lab Rat?
And how am I supposed to make the eyes (the white part)?
These are awesome puppets but there is something annoying about the new princeton's design. I think you could give him a smaller nose to make him cuttier. The bears have something strange but I really like nicky! Don't think I don't like the puppets it's just that the new design are weird when...
I realised that I'm supposed to sew to fabric (sew: is that the right word?) on the puppet and that glue it is not a good idea. What do you think about that? Is sewing really hard? How long does it takes?
Also did someone have an adress for a fur similar of kate's. And I can't find a wig that...
Hi, I just wanted to give an update of my puppets building process.
I just finished a foam base for kate monster. So the next step is to find all the fur and the fleece. That's what I found;
For Trekkie Monster fur...
