I haven't listened to the commentaries much as of yet. But I couldn't obviously notice any audio problems with any episode at all when I watched my copies.
Sorry to hear about that Caroline. :sympathy: One of the advantages I have is that that can't happen to me living in a part of the world where we never see snow and ice at all. But the truth is I'd really rather be disadvantaged in having to be careful all the time for it would be so beautiful...
I bet the goat found it very amusing as well as gleefully entertaining to hear them say it in any way.
His evil sense of humour no doubt would have found the thought of the pigs watching their step not knowing what he was planning to do really hilarious.:D
And I have stated this before. But just for the heck of it I'll say it again.
The short simple sentence "Watch your step" definitely has by far the most serious connotations where mountains are concerned.
But let me add this time that even if you suppress your emotions and say it very calmly...

That's very true. Whether you're killed or not does depend on how high you fall though.
But even if they had not been up too high a mountain the craziness still could have fitted in until that last piggy's line. Imagine their buddy is lying at the bottom with a broken arm or leg, fractured...
Your last response has made me wonder how many people watching the skit would have figured the first two piggies were supposed to be killed before the leader said that particular line.
I suppose it would probably seem obvious enough in hindsight. But I wonder how many may have failed to...
Yes it was at that moment in the skit that the implied fate of the other two piggies was hammered home to the audience beyond a shadow of a doubt, huh? :)
I can see what you're getting at Caroline but I was just thinking that what I suggested "I want to live" would certainly at least be closely related with "I don't want to fall."
He must have especially had the implications of both those lines on his (or her;) ) mind when he made the special...
