The whole how-will-the-shirt-behave-after-washings is one of the things that have caused me to not order the shirt so far (the other being lack of money) i'm pretty ambivalent of having both a great work of art and an awesome shirt being rendered less-than-fabulous after cleaning takes place.
I...
Not evil at all - if someone gets Cyndi stuck in my head, my response is "thank you" (i was just listening to that song this weekend as well as "Shine")
If people just know/remember Cyndi from the debut album, they may tend to dismiss her as a borderline novelty act since her persona was so...
Not much news has been reported about this (on Henson news sites or elsewhere) but the last issue of Farscape Comics (Issue 24) which came out this last week is the final issue of the series' run.
According to co-author KRAD, "Basically, we -- Rockne, Henson, me, BOOM! -- wanted to go out on a...
muppetlover123, don't worry about the ending. I doubt the movie itself will end like that. Books like these (ESPECIALLY when they come out BEFORE the movie) typically change the ending or cut off before the real one so the movie's ending isn't spoiled for theater viewing.
Besides: worst-case...
In The Muppet Movie, Kermit and Fozzie pass Big Bird on his way to New York (East coast) during Movin' Right Along. Yet, Big Bird ultimately ends up on the West Coast in Hollywood for the finale.
It does take that long. Over 200 pages and while there aren't so many words as such, someone reading for the first time will take their time looking at the photos and imagining/guessing what each quote is from.
But that info's been there for awhile. No one's just bothered to take it down. The imdb page for The Muppets is a hot mess: 1/3 real info, 1/3 speculation based on little more than fan fiction, 1/3 uncredited extras adding their own names.
Even their presence in BH was a "happy accident" -...
Do we have any real info on this though? The only "indication" of this being true are people who don't really know what they're talking about putting guesses as opposed to facts on imdb. Not only have we not heard anything elsewhere but none of Brian's characters have been spotted in the...
When Disney bought the Muppets, they bought them from Henson. Henson Co. no longer has any kind of ownership or control over them. If Disney seeks Henson's (the company or the family's) input, they can and are wise to do so but they don't have to.
Muppets are currently built by Puppet Heap...
But of course, Disney didn't own the Muppets when TMM was made. I'm talking purely about Disney here; i can see that turning into their strategy of "handling" the Muppet brand post-movie.
Everytime i see "Letters To Steve" it makes me first think of "Postcards To Steve" (from the alterKermit caper) and it takes a moment for the little lightbulb above my head to pop on remembering what Letters To Steve is.
Again, another Muppet contest for people who can draw...good for them, but "single-person-on-Valentines-Day" feeling for everyone else.
I would explode with laughter if the winner was a dress made up of Lady Gagas.
I actually kind of fear that with the naming of this movie as "The Muppets" and the promotion surrounding it, that Disney is essentially training the public to equate The Muppets (brand) with "The Muppets" (movie) and that actually does make me concerned about what happens next...if there...
Okay, here's an odd one!
I'm sure as Muppet fans, we've had this happen many times: we get a song stuck in our head but the version of the song isn't the "regular" one but the Muppet version of it. Happens to me all the time.
Well the latest song stuck in my head is same concept; different...
The Melissa Manchester episode is the most fun episode.
Why?
Because when i went to the amusement park with the Muppet Show episodes, the MM eppy was the only one willing to accompany me on all the roller coasters.
An educated guess on my part (meaning i've read one of the early drafts of the script...which doesn't mean as much as you'd think since A LOT has changed between early draft and final cut - as is usually the case.):
I'm guessing the arches won't be empty in the movie...and what will be IN those...
