Juilette,
I couldn't agree more. Cookie Monster is and always will be hilarious. I'm glad Oz still does him in these skits and I like the dialogue he uses.
Have you noticed they toned down Oscar and the Count? Whenever the Count announces the number of the day, there is no thunder and...
I really miss the racecar/spies cartoons, the pinball cartoons, Mr. Hooper, David, , Jim Henson, Joe Raposo's instrumental ragtime tunes in films. Not to mention the original theme song. I also miss seeing Kermit and other characters in street scenes duirng the beginning of each season.
I love Powerpuff Girls! I thought the Sesame references in the episodes were funny. Remember Jim Henson's agent, Bernie Brillstein? In an episode about the girls making a movie, they had a film agent named Bernie Bernstein. Bernie's had an assistant looked like Frank Oz without glasses. Some...
Frank Oz hasn't really quit, however, the only Muppets he manipulated so far are Cookie Monster and Grover. He still does Cookie in the "Letter Of the Day" inserts on SS. I don't think he came back as Bert, Fozzie, Piggy, Sam or Animal. He's cut back on his muppeteering so he can be seen as a...
The Sesame Street muppets should appear at Muppet Fest 2003 because SS was ignored at the last Muppst Fest and it has become an importance in Muppet history. Now, Hands up on who wants to see Louise Gold, Caroll Spinney, Fran Brill, Martin Robinson and Frank Oz there!
Does anyone recall a funny screen test when Kermit was in a field asking cows, "Have you ever gone to Los Angles"? He started laughing and Fozzie warned him that there's bulls and Kermit freaked out and ran. Then Fozzie started laughing.
It's a good thing he's still with JHC casuse after all, it belonged to his gifted father. I have two questions. Is Brian also stepping down in order to re build the Company? Does JHC still provide materials and performers for Sesame Street despite Sesame Workshop's control over all the characters?
Hello,
I am missing Unpaved episodes from the mid to late 70's.
I 'm missing ones from the 1975-1976 season, the 1976-1977 season, the premiere episode from the 1977-1978 season, the premiere from the 1978-1979 season and the 1979-1980 season. I am willing to trade tapes of Muppet...
Yup. it was Frank performing our beloved furry blue friends, grover and Cookie in "letter of the day". What's Piggy's voice like? I've read posts on other groups that frank's voice was was looped a couple of times. What does looping voices mean and why did Frank loop some of his voices in...
I couldn't agree more. I'll miss Frank's Fozzie and his Animal and Piggy. At least he still does Cookie in a few "Letter of the Day" segments and he did Grover in one too.
