Anyone remember the counting circus guy?
It was the cartoon series about numbers.
The sketches I remembered are 4 Lions, 7 Seals, 8 Penguins, 9 Elephants, 10 Dancing Bears, 11 Puppies and 12 Finches.
I remembered watching #7 in the year 2000.
I got #10 on my first family tape.
P.S. The worst part of #162 is that they never showed an old claymation where twelve balls in the desert count to twelve. I am very disappointed!:(
In fact, it doesn't have Big Bird, Bert and Ernie in it, but I love the way the Big Bird of today looks and I love the newer Bert and Ernie...
Well, actually,...I did see There Once Was A Hand skit for the first time on Unpaved #162. It did not scare, because it played early organ music of the '70's, and was a live spot. One of the scariest skits I saw on 123 Sesame Street was the animated L sketch: L-Loud. A strange-lookin' small man...
Well, I watched three episodes. They were:
1) Premiere episode from Nov. 10, 1969
2) #536 (with Fat Cat, Kermit and Joey sing the Cookie Monster Alphabet, Daddy Dear, Doin' the Pigeon and the brief appearance of Sam the Robot!)
3) #560 (with Cowboy X, Sherlock Hemlock and Harvey...
Do you know what I finally saw? I watched Sesame Street Unpaved on Noggin for the first time! The first Unpaved episode I ever saw on Noggin was #162 from 1970.
Here are the sketches I remembered:
Animated opening: passion flowers growing
Oscar's Stop Signs
Kermit and Cookie on the Happy...
I remembered one sleep sketch called "Everybody Sleeps". It was a live-action shot/song where people and animals sleep. I remembered watching that on Sesame Street Unpaved at the Museum of Television & Radio on November 5th.
Now, here are my extra SS moments I saw as a baby scared me the most:
1) A cartoon magician transforms birds into fish, and at the end, the hand is going to get me, and the magician began to shrink and make the sketch all white!
2) A surreal skit with the umbrella. We see the umbrella when...
Hey guys, did you know what I watched? I watched 123 Sesame Street! That show rocks!!! I remembered watching the episode where Telly Monster tries to yell the number thirteen, but he thinks that if he says it, rain will continue to drown. I saw it on last Friday before I got IO. Now, I got it...
Do you remember these letter clips from the old days of Sesame Street?
As I watched them, I only remembered seeing a couple of these.
D- "This is the letter D"-I watched that as a little kid many times, and I finally saw it again on Sesame Street Unpaved at the Museum of Television &...
I remembered watching the orange Oscar. I saw him reciting the alphabet to Bob on the A&E special and on the first episode at the Museum of Television & Radio. In 1970, Oscar's orange fur turns green.
Did you post the pic of the brownish Grover?
Yeah, I remembered seeing an old SS picture on Muppet Danny's Best Muppet Site, and it featured the very early Ernie and Bert, Kermit and BD. Was BD similar to the one from the Muppet Show on Sesame Street?
You got it! The music is the electric guitar (just like in #3!) and the scene is the jungle! You're the best, ssetta!
Now, speaking of 3,
What WAS the scene of it?
Ohhh, I missed these skits last week and I am very disapointed! I think it was the episode from 1970. What episodes do YOU think are going to be on Noggin this night?
