This is ancient history so I am not sure why I am being ever-so-slightly-defensive, but
to be fair, the images posted prior to the Gonzo being made available for pre-order were not Terry's amazing prototypes, but the final product, as evidenced by this thread which you started, MuppetCaper...
No idea. My guess would be that they're unlicensed. Or maybe even prototypes or something. No discernible TM or compyright info, even on Fozzie who is still in plastic. Piggy certainly don't look legit. Though, that Fozzie sculpt looks letter than some licensed stuff, so who know?!?
As someone who worked closely with Terry on the MR Muppet line, I can definitely confirm that (a) his work is top notch and (b) he truly is one of the kindest, most talented, professional individuals I've ever had the good fortune to cross paths with.
And once again Terry, I am so sorry that...
I've been to five different CVS stores in my area recently, and I have not found a single one... Oddly, I found all 5 of the Valentines plush (the larger Kermit, Fozzie & Animal and the smaller Kermit & Animal) at those same stores... Very odd.
If anyone finds/buys multiples, I'd be interested...
Hey all,
I haven't come on here and promoted my stuff in a while, but I wanted to let you all know I am still selling off all of the extra Muppet stuff in my collection. All kinds of goodies ending tonight...
BTW, the Bunsen, Beaker & Chef in the blog that MuppetPerson linked to are NOT a part of this line -- those are Sababa Beanies. Interestingly enough, I got a few of the ones in my collection from A-na Toys!
Warrick! How are you?
Send me a PM and let me know which ones you're looking for... I sold 25 of them as a lot last week, and then I've got the 23 up now. I do have some more extra issues left, though I am not entirely sure which. Let me know what you're looking for.
More goodies up for grabs, including 13 individual packs of sealed Hallmark stickers, and another near-complete lot of Muppet Magazines:

This Rowlf was released earlier than 2011. From what I can recall, he first started showing up online in early 2009. He was released by a South American Department store chain called Falabella -- they're in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Columbia -- as a part of a promotion that also included...
Sorry to keep coming here and hocking my wares... But I've got loads more awesome stuff up with low starting bids! Unused Butterfly Originals tote bags, sealed Hallmark puzzles from the 1980s, awesome rare Martex towels, etc. Check it out...
Yep, Prelude just made Kermit and Piggy in the UK, as far as I know. Then there were two versions of Kermit, Fozzie and Miss Piggy released in the US -- the regular bottle with the sticker & then the figural ones.
Earlier I said that I thought that the figural ones were Coty, not Calgon -- but...
Hi Collector1983-
Are these the regular shaped bottles with the characters on the label -- or are they the actual figural bottles, shaped like Kermit, Fozzie & Miss Piggy? I assume it's the former, since the figural ones were, I think, produced by Coty, not Calgon.
Anyway, if it's the former...
Thanks DLGabriel-
You never know -- I (almost) always start everything with low opening prices (and no reserves) -- so you might get a great deal!
Just an FYI, I've added some more stuff including the original Nanco (not Disney) Pepe plush...
Hi again all-
Thanks to those of you who checked out my auctions -- especially those of you who bid! ;)
As promised, I've put up some more holiday goodies, as well as some other "general" Muppet stuff... and I will be adding more throughout the week.
Some of my favorite things so far...
Just a quick reminder that my Muppets Christmas ornament/item auctions are ending tonight:

... And stay tuned. I will be listing some more goodies tonight -- both Christmas...
Hey friends-
I just wanted to let you know that, after a few months off, I am back to selling off extra items from my extensive Muppets collection. And since 'tis the season, I am starting with some pretty cool ornaments/items from Hallmark and Sigma... As you'll see, most of the stuff is mint...
I've actually got one of these, but it' still mint in its original package with the Kermit one. Would you be interested in the whole set? Let me know. Thanks!
I think these are old actually. I was at Hollywood Studios -- MGM Studios back then -- the first year that it was open, circa 1989-90. This was when they still had the Muppet Walk-around characters and the live stage show. And I vividly remember seeing this in the Muppet store at the time... So...
