Electronic Light Motion Operator, or something. My school uses them too. Similar situation in math class yesterday for me:
Sub: "Well, how do you turn on this ELMO?"
Me: "Tickle it."
Also, same day after gym (after tons of sprinting... they aim to kill us):
Friend: "Urgh, I feel like a...
LOL, I loved Miss Piggy as a little kid, possibly even moreso than the SS Muppets... my grandma let me decorate her Christmas tree with a lot ofPiggy (and a few Kermits :) ) ornaments when I was around 5. Just the bottom, though, so the half normal tree/half "weird" :attitude: tree effect was so...
... you come on this site early in the morning instead of doing English homework you procrastinated on.
... you're ashamed of being scared of Gonzo at age 4, because you now realize he's one of the coolest Muppets. :concern:
I've always liked Telly. He's so much like me (obessive, worrier, addicted to television...) and I loved that when I was a kid. One Easter I got a small Telly beanie-baby-esque thing and I still have it. :) He does need more merchandise, though.
No one can dislike Telly, there's a bit of him...
A little unrelated, but when I was younger I used to claim that Dave Goelz was my uncle. (Last name is extremely similar to mine... but back then no one besides me cared or knew who he was.)
I knew it was the Count after a few seconds... :excited: I got all fangirly. Was this a real song on SS? Anyone have the original clip or just the song? (Love it, but I don't wanna have to watch the commercial whenever I want to hear it. Which is often. :D)
I totally agree. A shorter segment, more interaction with the other characters. The regular street characters don't appeat much on EW, do they? Only for the specials and stuff, like Grover on the 35th anniversary. Does anyone know?
Yeah, I noticed that when Samantha was talking to someone else, although I immediately thought the Wizard of Oz. After the dance she asked Karina about it and she pretty much confirmed that was the inspiration for the costumes. I missed Animal's solo. :( He's one of my favorites. :halo:
As for...
It's a wonderful day FOR PIIIIIIEEEEEE!
Parallel universes always produce interesting, twistedly funny plots. It's kind of an excuse for the writers to just go nuts. :D
They were in a tank, though. I think they live longer in tanks than in bowls. More room and stuff. :wisdom:
(I think it's worth noting that "Dorothy" got really really fat, and Mollie was the *perfect* fish, IHMO. ;)) Dorothy had bug eyes and would always headbutt the glass. We pretended she...
Windy, cloudy, pretty cold. The leaves aren't turning at all yet, though. I love fall leaves, and the fact that it's almost October and there are NO fallen leaves is bumming me out quite a bit. But better than yesterday, so I can't complain. It hailed...!
(Am I the only one who's still freaked...
This is too adorable! Her story is sad, but she seemed so delighted to meet Elmo. Sweet and at the same time heartbreaking. Shows how much the Muppets can cheer people up. :)
Make-a-Wish is a great organization.
Hah, I thought my brother was the only one that did that! He got Dorothy, and I got Mollie. Guess which species it was? *A mollie is a type of goldfish(y looking fish, at least)*
We were so creative. They lived for about 3 1/2 years, though. :D
Ah, the wonders of Spirit Week. Mine's next week, but in case ya wanted to know:
Monday: PJ DAY! :excited:
Tuesday: Class Colors. Freshman= PINK.
Wednesday: Detective Day-- Dress like secret agent/dective :D
Thursday: Decades Day-- Doesn't indicate which, I'm thinking 70s-80s. :cool...
Hah, I can imagine the Jon&Kate thing:
Two, two cheating parents!
Eight, eight bratty kids!
Thirty-six, yes, THIRTY SIX, television cameras! Ah-ah-ah! :batty:
