    Spaceship Surprise thread...

I remember Spaceship Surprise from when I was little! I've been waiting to see them use it since I got back into Sesame Street in Season 31, but I never saw any Spaceship Surprise segments again! What happened to them?

    Daddy Dear

I think I saw that song in Season 31 in the episode when Baby Bear has a playdate with his Papa Bear.

Cartoon(s) with Sesame Street animated characters

Here is a skit based on my life: Characters: Alligator King's seventh son Martian Beauty Ladybug from the Ladybug Picnic(the teacher) Principal(who could be the principal? In the meantime, how about the Penny Candy Man?) (Mrs. Ladybug is reading to her kindergarten class) Person from...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

Was the song, "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" used in season 35?

Three questions about modern Sesame Street

I would like to see: *Far more than 26 episodes *More clips, specifically old ones(however, I loved many of the new season 35 clips such as Dr. Feel, Baby Talk, Joe Hundred Guy, and TriangleBob TrianglePants *The show switched back to its pre-season 33 format

    Bacon forbidden on SS?

Here is a skit that is based on my life and would make a great Sesame Street cartoon skit. It has bacon in it and is basically an anti-microwave cartoon. The Turtle and the Microwave (A turtle is sitting outside an office building with microwave antennas on top, and the building is located by...

    Food allergies talked about?

I don't think that Sesame Street has ever talked about food allergies, but I drew a cartoon based on when I was in kindergarten in which the Alligator King's seven son has a nut allergy and his kindergarten teacher is a ladybug from the Ladybug's Picnic. Then in the middle of the year, the...

Wild ties for you to wear to work

Well, when I was in preschool, I used to wear regular-size (adult) neckties. For little boys, one can adjust the tie to the right length and tie the tie at the right spot and tuck the extra(dangling)portion of the tie into the shirt.

    Anybody ambidextrous?

I was wondering if anybody in this forum is ambidextrous(you know, both left-handed and right-handed). My former karate instructor is ambidextrous.

Well, I read on TVtome.com that Dragon Tales is getting new episodes.

    The Counting Circus Guy

I last saw two of those sketches in Season 31: Three frisky felines, and six marvelous monkeys.

    I remember that skit.

A Monster at the End of This Book

I remember that book! If there was something on the last page of a book that I didn't like, I would pretend the book was, "The Monster at the End of this Book" and act out the story.

Anyone like Lillian Hoban's Arthur the chimpanzee?

I always liked the lesser known character of Arthur the chimpanzee created by Lillian Hoban better than the greater known character of Arthur the aardvark created by Marc Brown. The books I am familiar with(and own)about Arthur the chimpanzee are: Arthur's Pen Pal Arthur's Loose Tooth...

    Cecille the Ball

Yes, I remember her. Her theme song goes, "She can bounce, she can roll, she can spin like a wheel, She's got a rubber soul and her name is Cecile. Cecile, no one can match you. Cecile, you're off the wall. Cecile, I'm gonna catch you And when I do, I'm gonna have a ball. Whoo!"

Idea for a Sesame Street skit

Or, here is version B of the skit. This version is titled, "The Interest of Sawing A Girl In Half." It starts when Elmo places Zoe into a box, closes the box, then gets the chainsaw going, saws Zoe in half, splits the two halves of the box apart, lines them back up, then takes Zoe out of the box...

Three new Sesame DVD's on February 1st

Well, one member of this forum told me that from what he(or is it she?)understands, Sesame Workshop can still use existing Kermit clips, but would have to pay money to get new ones. The Kermit clip on this video was made before the Disney deal, so I imagine SW can still use it.

Idea for a Sesame Street skit

Here is a skit I wrote: (Zoe comes in Elmo's house) Zoe:Hi, Elmo. What are you doing? Elmo:Nothing much. But now that you're here, I can finally perform my magic trick. (Elmo takes out a box and saw) Elmo:Get in the box. Hurry! I want to saw you in half! Zoe:I just want to warn you, I'm...

Wild ties for you to wear to work

I would imagine those ties would be more for little boys than for adult men. Maybe they could wear them to preschool.

Remember those Sesame Street Little Lessons?

Remember those toys Tyco used to make called Sesame Street Little Lessons? They had a screen and when a button was pressed, they would scroll up and down pictures? They were available in three versions: ABC, Animals, and 123.
