Don't worry. You're not alone.
It's just many of us are quiet because it's pointless to argue over. Those who believe Fizney will be the second coming will keep believing that, no matter how unlikely.
I'm pretty sure it's just Sony's general sloppiness. The quality in their home video releases has really dropped in the last decade or so, which is odd because they were such a pioneer in the medium. But still I dare anyone to watch the pan&scan version of "Multiplicity" without getting a...
Well, I'm not going to let my fondness for a certain Muppet blur my judgement on whether Lips should be an all-new sculpt or a retooled Zoot or anybody. :)
Despite the obvious appeal that Lips has with most of us on here, (and just a warning, I'm going to play devil's advocate for a second...
Oh, I never get tired of hearing that one!
Yeah, they both want it so badly that it's taking 14 years and counting!
C'mon, Classic Media!!!!! :D
No, but I do remember some of the FP Kermit products had a 1956 copyright in addition to the current year. Evidently that was when Jim copyrighted the first Kermit puppet.
So while the seller is ignorant, they aren't necessarily lying about the copyright listed.

I was able to get everybody including both Zoots. They all looked like they were going fast (I believe only a Scooter and a yellow Zoot were left).
I can honestly say that I absolutely love these figures. :D

I agree completely.
The problem with a Marvin/Johnny/Sal mix is that you'll get three different types of people who will pass on at least one figure......a nostalgic fan who may remember Marvin from the show but didn't keep up on any new Muppet stuff, a newer fan who may remember Johnny and...
Or at the very least, it seems as if only select stores are going to carry any amount of figures.
According to a gent at one store (I know, I know, that's about as reliable as talking to Harry Knowles), toys will only be carried at the mall stores and not at any free-standing or plaza...
Yeah, really. There's only an x amount of time after the minister says, "If there is any person who feels these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace."
The gears are in motion. If Disney really wanted them, the Valentine deal wouldn't have gotten this far already...
Ah, reading good ol' Muppet Central. Let me just take a big sip of root beer before reading the newest Ask Ken posts.....
PPPFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, darn....we still don't know. :(
I actually read about the list in my ToyFare that arrived today before signing on here, but the fact that they were listing the Stage kinda clued me in that this was a tentative list at best.
But still, if this is a close model as to what we can expect, I'm quite impressed.
I too was a...
Um, yeah. As already mentioned in the thread, Disney owns the Saban company, but it is Haim Saban himself who wants to own the Muppets. He is no longer with the Saban company following the Disney buyout.
Unless Disney makes its own bid or buys the company away from Mr. Saban afterward, they...
I agree that the skeletal frame would be the better way to go. In fact, if there is no back "wall" and just literally a frame, there probably wouldn't be a reason why the other playsets could not very well fit onto the stage as originally intended (it may just be a tight fit for some of the...
Speaking of the IMDb, their Studio Brief news column mentioned the Saban offer. In the report, they say that EMTV is "reportedly" also negotiating with Disney and Warner.
They didn't list a source confirming the other two suitors, but they usually don't mix rumors with straight news stories.
Just to give everyone the heads up, the newest issue of ToyFare (#64) has a little interview with our favorite Palisades product developer.
But....um....the magazine doesn't really seem to be sure what gender Ken is.
Did something happen during the chat, Ken? Did you go off and have some...
Then why bother posting it all to strangers on a public forum? There was nothing that you said that you couldn't have just written in a private letter to Mr. Rivkin. In fact, if I'm not mistaken you joined the forum just for posting your little rant.
If you want to present an opinion, then...
