you must have been looking at their expedited delivery shipping.. we always order from geeks (to alaska) cuz they're one of the few places that will ship regular postal. rates for that are way less then $34.. and they still generally deliver in about a week. we never ship ups/fed ex if we can at...

YAY! these two books are really going to be great for me. and the timing couldn't get much better.. Pepe's hits just a little before hubby goes on deployment.. and piggy's will be shortly after he leaves, so I'll have lots of Muppety goodness to help keep my spirits up.

I don't think i'd agree that the original muppet show was too obscure for kids today... my step kids all seem to enjoy it.. especially the 9 year old.. she's always wanting to watch all the muppet stuff I've got. she loves the muppet show (though there are some guests or bits that she'll ask us...

I agree, as well, while the special was definately NOT a favorite of mine.. and may not have lived up to my personal hopes for it... my 9 year old absolutely LOVED it and even my 14 yr old found it mostly tollerable (in the manner of most teens.. heh...) for me right now.. it's just more...
