Hey Kamit,
So you're from Kingston, eh? :) How's life treating you there? I used to have a lot of relatives in the area, including my now-deceased grandparents (my Mom's parents). I used to visit Kingston 2-3 times a year when I had more family there. The last time I visited was two years...
I'd be interested to know more about the various international skits that were made for other countries. Anybody here have any other information on these?
Incidentally, I did a Google search for Mary Roos, and there's a photo of her with the TMS stars at her official Web site...
Um, who? LOL -- just joking.
Whereabouts are you? There is a chance that you may be able to get CTS in the area you're living in. I've read that some people outside of Ontario can receive CTS on cable or via satellite (e.g. StarChoice or Bell ExpressVu).

Hi,
This weekend I took it upon myself to write a letter to the Program Manager at CTS regarding the absence of the TMS episode with the British jazz singer Cleo Laine. It is a follow-up to a conversation I had with the Program Manager nearly a week ago. Don't know how much of an impact this...
Kudos to Weird Al for wanting the show(s) to go on. He's got a lot of inner strength and courage to be able to go out there and still have fun with the fans despite sufering a very tough and brutal loss. I'm sure his parents would've wanted him to keep the tour going. I also remember seeing his...
Thanks for the update. Just to let you know that Parkes is actually Canadian, not American, but he played Doc for both countries. I found it interesting to read in the Internet Movie Database that McKay was from Scotland (he died in 1987).

I wanted to give people a heads up and say that people in Ottawa will soon be able to watch TMS! That's because CTS (Crossroads Television System) will begin broadcasting in Canada's Capital City on Tuesday, May 4. CTS will be carried on Channel 32/Cable 25 (Rogers Cable). Earlier this month CTS...
Hi,
According to Canada.com's TV Times, here are CTS' TMS listings for the week. All episodes listed are subject to change.
April 26 - Roy Clark
27 - Jean Stapleton
28 - James Coco
29 - Liberace
30 - Loretta Lynn
TMS airs Monday to Friday on CTS (Cable 9 Toronto) @ 7 PM ET...
You're right, those ones were brutal too. Stallone looked as though he felt confused (out of place?) during much of his episode. As for my feelings about Liberace and his TMS appearance, if you can't say something nice...

It's hard for me to list off my favourite episodes since they all have their share of fun and entertaining moments. I can write about my favourite skits later, but some of my favourite "episodes" include the ones with: Harry Belafonte, Edgar Bergen, Carol Burnett, Lynda Carter, Johnny Cash, John...
That is a beautiful song, and a good choice for a memorial service. It's the kind of song I'd like to have played at my memorial service. The Muppet gang re-recorded it with John Denver on their "Christmas Together," and it's available on CD.
Don't you find that "Emmet Otter" is the most...
CTS never disclosed that info to me. I had assumed that the tapes came directly from JHP. How do distributors get copies of old TV shows? Do they get them from the direct sources (i.e. the original producers), or from another group or party? Maybe we could address the problem about that episode...
Hi,
Yesterday I vented my frustrations in another posting in this forum over the fact that CTS (Crossroads Television Service) didn't broadcast the Cleo Laine episode, one of the few shows to not air on the channel since they began airing last September. This afternoon I phoned the CTS office...

Here is the email address where you can send your grievances to if you wish: cts@mail.ctstv.com. This is the email I used to contact CTS regarding the absence of certain TMS episodes.

I'm SO ANGRY tonight because CTS did not broadcast the ep. w/ Cleo Laine! :boo: It is one of the few TMS eps that hasn't aired on that channel, and I wanted to see it! :grouchy: I even told my Dad to tune in, as he recalls being a fan of hers while growing up in the UK. I think I just might make...
What eps are on this DVD? Does the disc include any scenes with Sprocket and the Canadian/American Doc? Who were the British characters? How similar or different were they from the ones I saw growing up? Do you recommend this DVD overall?
