I've missed most of this as I don't post regularly. It's not because of anything that's gone on here, just that I feel very um... muppet illiterate... I watched Muppet Babies, Sesame Street, Muppet Show reruns, etc growing up and I own most of the movies, but really don't know as much as...
good grief has it really been almost 4 years since I joined???? I'll be 21 in another month and a half!!!!
I have a pathetic amount of posts for so long too.... how embarassing :o
I am wanting to enter in the Alaska State Fair's Photography contest. I can enter up to three, and I am really having a hard time picking 1 for each category I want to enter in. I want to enter in portraits, sports, and landscape. Landscape was easy for me to choose, but sports and portraits are...
My aunt quoted part of the song the "Rainbow Connection" in her wedding announcement... I don't remember which parth though, and it's been 17 (?) years now so my chance of finding that invite aren't too good ;)
The "Here fishy, fishy, fishy, fishy" skit with Bert and Ernie
growing up in Alaska I knew that didn't really work, but I to this day go fishing and yell that out at teh fish... much to my dad's amusement and annoyance :) :attitude: :o
Kermit and Miss Piggy share one of the spots. Kermit is one of the 'actors' who gets to talk about not only himself, but about other characters (like Don Knott's character of Barney Fife)
I'm guessing this is a repeat, but it's the first time I've seen it. Just thought I'd share... it's on...
I don't know why, but the "Fishy-Fishy" sketch impacted my life in a huge way. I have dreams about it still. Isn't that sad? I guess it just really made an impression on my toddler mind. ;) :o
I don't think it would get a big enough rating to take teh chance. Disney's having some serious issues as it is getting people to watch.
I'm taking a visualization in the media class and I'm the only one--other than the prof--who actually appreciates the muppets for what they were/are. We have...
Roy made a terrible mistake by letting someone else take the company over, but I think he should have his job back. Disney's "quality" has gone way down. It needs to be saved. Fast.
As for the muppets... I want another full length movie... but I don't think it would be possible. Any more...
Big time 'classic' Disney fan here ;) Not into the movies past Lion King... the magic is forever lost, I'm afraid. Pixar is Disney Co.'s only saving grace. Well, and the muppets, but they haven't been up to much, and they're an aqquired taste anyway (at least that's what I've been told! LOL) :(...
I hated the Nanny Goat... she scared me for some reason when I was small, and while I love how everything was a type of tongue twister, for the most part I still don't care for them *shrugs*
still I miss these old segments
Muppet Babies was my first Muppet Show... when I got older I enjoyed watching reruns of the Muppet Show... and then I graduated to Muppet Movies later on. :)
