I don't know that Somebody Come & Play would be shown on any of the Unpaved episodes...I think Big Bird and David's version was on any of them, but the live-action film segment version of Somebody Come & Play with the frolicking tigers can be shown on one of the Sesame Street Re-paved episodes...
I also like the other alphabet animation where letters were made in pieces of technology.
The old version has the typewriter, now the new version has the computer!
They did typewriter for T-Z, now they used the computer to make the new format of T-Z, but with old audio.
Here are my favorite number segments I watched from late May 2002 to the summer of 2003:
0-Animated segment: Girl tells boy the truth that there are zero elephants see saw in the zoo
Animated segment: song of zero inside the plate
1-Live-action segment/song: One (sung by Christopher...
Here are my favorite letter segments I watched and heard from late May 2002 to the summer of 2003!
A-animated Acorn sketch
Soul A, sung by a cartoon dancer
The Sound of the Letter A, by Big Bird
B-Kermit's 'B' Lecture, similar to 'W' Lecture Pt. 1
Animated segment: A boy named...
Here are my favorite spots of Sesame Street ABC's:
ABC-DEF-GHI
Madrigal Alphabet animation
Fireworks Alphabet film
Kermit & Joey sing the ABCDEFG Cookie Monster
Alphabet animation that start and end with twenty-six letters on the yellow background
Alphabet animation with letters on black...
Yes, I remember Farley!
I have the sketch of him going to buy a new hat on the Rainstorm episode of Unpaved, in which my father taped it for me in very late 2002.
This Anything Muppet also appears on the Marching Song with Bert, the Clapping Song with Roosevelt Franklin, he also appears on...
Guess what! In late 1999, Sesame Street Unpaved was decreased slowly every day only at 1AM, 2AM and 4AM until in 2001, SSU, TEC and 321 Contact decreased, too, on Noggin. 321 Contact was shown only at 1AM and 3AM, The Electric Company was shown only at 1:30AM and 3:30 AM and Sesame Street...
:D
Here's the transcript of the "Bacon & X" sketch from 1969, episode #2 of Sesame Street starring the early Cookie Monster, yes, "The Monster"!
Bert: Ernie...Ernie, you could write down your x's on your chart, but what we have here for breakfast is bacon and eggs. You know, eggs doesn't...
There was also another early Cookie Monster skit from 1969 where Kermit calls Cookie the "Monster". It was the lecture of happy/sad faces where "The Monster" eats both of them to make Kermit feel angry as he yells to him, "YOU BAD MONSTER! YOU ATE THE LECTURE I'M TALKING ABOUT!! I'M GONNA TELL...
:)
I have the old closing theme and the new closing theme. The old closing I have is on Rainstorm and the new closing I have is on #3870.
The old closing theme I have is the long drawing of Anything Muppets and original Sesame Street Muppets living in a long apartment with the harmonia...
I have pics of Big Bird first met the creepy-looking Mr. Snuffleupagus from the 1971-72 premiere and the pics where Sam the Robot first met Gordon and Susan from the 1972-73 premiere. I think one of us posted them one year ago and I'll make copies of them to you sooner or later.
This old Cookie Monster hit was also shown on one of the Season 30 episodes where Big Bird and Snuffy play games together at Big Bird's home, but they need help from Gordon. Now, it's one of the episodes that's now showing on Noggin only at 5AM.
Here are quite a few I thought of:
The 'E' Sketch:
Harvey Kneeslapper: Um, 'scuze me, did I ever send you e-mail?
Black-Haired Fat Blue Anything Muppet: What's that?
Harvey Kneeslapper: I say did I ever send you e-mail? A'ha ha ha ha ha!
Black-Haired Fat Blue Anything Muppet: No...
As I remember watching two classic episodes from 1973 at the Museum of Radio & Television, one of them that was not shown on Noggin was #560, it has the game-show sketch called "The Trading Game" hosted by Guy Smiley and features contestants like Oscar and some screaming and happy purple lady...
Does anybody remember this animated segment from the early 70's? It was the one about the letter Y I saw today on Re-paved (the 2000 or current episodes)on Noggin, which the best title would be "the Yawning Y" or "Y, yawn". Here's how it went:
The background is yellow-colored and we see a red...
I guess I know what happened to the baker segments and race cars/spies segments. They took the baker segments off Sesame Street in 1986 after Miles's First Birthday, because everyone would believe that the baker falling down the stairs would be hurtful. And they took the race cars/spies segments...
I am searching for the 'F' Flea Circus skit. I know it's on the CD, Sesame Street: Letters, but I want to watch it on TV!
Can it be on:
Sesame Street Unpaved?
Sesame Street shows from Season 25?
Sesame Street shows from Season 30-31?
Sesame Street shows from today?
Thanks for remembering that sketch, Count.
Now, I'm dying to see that sketch again, but where can I find it?
Is it on:
Sesame Street Unpaved?
Sesame Street shows from Season 25?
Sesame Street shows from Season 30-31?
Sesame Street shows from today?
