Baby Rowlf- looks like I watched the same shows you did growing up. Readalong and Jeremy were espcially favourites!
Now I have the Readalong theme in my head....
"'Cause reading is a lot of fun- and easy too! So join us here at Readalong. You and you and you and you and you!"
Did anyone else catch the Ed Sullivan Christmas special on PBS last night?
It was just a collection of acts from the show with a Christmas theme.
The second sketch shown was Muppets! Jim, Frank and a couple others doing a funny scene as reindeer. Full of typical Muppet humor, the deer wind up...
Hey Terry,
Great puppet. I love the pictures that you include! (My fav is the one that illustrates her over bearing love of animals) :)
Hope you make a santa sack full of $$ for her!
sylindebren, thank you SO much!
I don't feel to bad for not being able to make out all the words
(Bad hep with the wild gang?) I think I'll try and use "hep" in random sentences today. :)
Wow, I just have to state for the record that Muppet Caper is my favourite of the first 3 films. I love everything about it, including the nod and wink to the audience about how they're making a movie. ("Starring everybody- and me!")
This post modern self referencing is something I also enjoy...
Ok, so I know you guys will be able to help me with this....

Oh man, I love the part where cookie monster finds out that you leave santa a plate of cookies, and there's a "gong" sound effect.
Also, when Mr. Hooper comes over to Ernie and Bert's and gives them their stuff back.
I love the scene where Kermit is asking Scrooge for more coal for the fire...and the rats complain, "Our assets are Frozen!" and Scrooge threatens to fire them and then all the rats pop up in tropical wear with a quick, "Heatwave!"
I always liked Baskerville too!
(That appearence in the Julie Andrews "lonely goatherd" number is cute. Well, all the muppets in leiderhosen (sp?!) look cute!)

Hey, I just found out that Lloyd Morrisett (co-founder of CTW) is on the board of directors for the company I'm working for.
This is most likely of no interest to anyone else what so ever, but
anything that can link me to the muppets is fascinating trivia in my book. :)
It's like 6 degrees...
