Yes,some of the modern day muppets were in those commercials,like Kermit,Rowlf,and Cookie Monster.I think Cookie started out in IBM commercials,Kermit was in bakery or bread commercials,and Rowlf was made for Purina Dog...

Last time I heard Disney,for some reason,canceled most of the new muppet plans.I hope I've helped you.
