Yucky :(
EM.TV still...STILL has a controlling interest
Now TWO groups, neither one of them a superpower, will be stewards of the Henson legacy
Jim wanted a safe, strong place for the Muppets back in 1990, and they continue to be splintered and shuffled along...
My personal kudos go out to Froggy for the newest Christmas menu :)
I had hoped for a little Dark Crystal, but it is admittedly not very Christmassy.
Still, the ghost of Christmas Past looks a LOT like Kira from the Dark Crystal!
Yayyyyy :D
Luke---
Hmmm. Well, if I get the chance to post it, I will, and I won't take it down until Henson goes after my hosting company.
Can't do it right now, though. It'll be a fun experiment:)
It's probably too late to hope, but could any Dark Crystal stuff make its way in there?
Nah, not too Christmassy.
Anyhoo, Froggy's Christmas Flash menus are blowing the official Henson website away! They've done NOTHING except load up a big promo pic for the Christmas special movie...
The only problem with the Fisher Price thing is that it's somebody else's properties, and if it gets popular, they'll shut you down.
Apply the talent to your own characters:)
Hmmm....why haven't we heard from Phil on this one yet?
The way I feel about video clips is that they can't possibly eat into Henson revenue because a little mpeg or Quicktime movie that lasts a minute or two, and is shown at the size of a postage stamp or a Kit Kat bar is no big deal...
TWO MORE???
They're called the "Holidays," Froggy! I hope you're gonna take some time off, or that you're getting paid overtime :D
Your Flash Holiday menus are great :)
Crazy Harry:
Rowlf: "Evening....you look like you could use a drink"
Kermit: "Can I have a grasshopper please?"
Steve Martin: "Would you like to smell the CAP?"
OMIGOD.........THEY'RE ALCOHOLICS:D :D :D
Beaker:
5:30 AM?
Ya got me beat. The latest I've done here is around 4-ish AM.
Does the majority of the intended audience for the special sit up at 4 AM writing about it? Ha! I'll bet not even 1% do.
We are the HARDCORE :D
Beaker:
Keep posting then....we can never tell when the day MAY come that the Henson people might grab a few of us HARDCORE fans for input. And all the hardcore fans are here :D
Remember, that crack from Kermit about "Muppet fans sites" meant US :) :) :)
I had no problem with the fat gay Muppet...thought it was a cute bit with the dancers :)
I'd also guess that if you walked around any playground today, you'd find "sucks" is pretty much already used, accepted, and tolerated.
I REALLY like Beaker's idea for a Muppet movie :D
Instead of ogling boobs, I would've had Pepe stepped on accidentally, and then he looks up and says "Hey, these legs are niiiice!" :D
I still liked the special ;)
Um....I never literally said that I think that God is a man
I'm afraid Froggy might not like me anymore...
Thank you, Joggy :)
Now the troops are rallying around me :D
Right. WHY depict God in--of all things--a Muppet movie?
There are so many interpretations, so by choosing one, you slight so many others :(
When God is included in a film, it's usually done for a shock laugh; rarely...
Thanks, Misfit Toy :)
Anyhoo, to change the subject for a bit (at least I'll try), did you all like that mention from Kermit about "Muppet internet fan sites?"
Y'all KNOW that was for us :D
C'irdan------Rizzo
C'irdan: I'm not going to defend myself typing away at this board explaining how I'm NOT a bigoted misogynist; I'm too busy with other stuff right now.
I produce my own 8-page magazine every month and I take my writing seriously. To some, they just type whatever is on...
punkNpuppets, ngirl23
Uh...OK....everything is white, she has supernatural powers, and Whoopi says that she "wrote the handbook of the universe," and "works in mysterious ways."
She may be referred to as "the Boss," but Whoopi is playing God.
At the imdb, it's quoted as this: "Whoopi...
punkNpuppets, scarecroe...
First off....I DON'T go to church.
But, walk into any church for which this special is about (Christmas), and you'll find God depicted as a white male with a beard.
So, having a black woman play God is so totally different that it screws with your head too...
