too freaking cold! weeks of sub zero temps have frozen the fume vent on our septic tank and making the house smell (dealing with that today, thankfully it's not too hard to fix, but might return if it doesn't warm up soon...) and now it's too cold my truck won't start.. makes the day off last...

sadly i missed it.. we had a gas leak scare out my house and spent the evening trying to trace it.. (turns out it was the septic tank, after all the sub zero temps the fume vent has frozen and is sending them up the line...*sigh* but easier to deal with and not as likely to make house go boom..)...

very cold here in Palmer, Alaska... currently we are at a shockingly warm 15 above 0. but we are having 75+ mph winds, so if you are foolish enough to go outside, you could be blown away, but it also could feel like 30 below zero out there.. we are really hoping it stops blowing overnight, but...
