Which Garfield special (or episode?) has Jon on the dance floor being yelled at by a random person in the place, "Disco is dead you jerk!"? Anyone recall? Thanks! It's been years since I saw it, and I remember laughing so hard at that!
That is great your dad got his photo with Jim Varney, and thank you for trying to help us see the photo, I appreciate it!
Also cool about the photo of your dad with Adam West - I bet the car show featured the Batmobile :)
And last but not least, I like how you're in NZ and your MC name is...
Interesting how the Grasshoppers and the Happy Chipmunks cover the music of Chipmunks :)
Was one a Christmas album? Any other neat cover songs?
I also like Chip and Dale...both original cartoons from the early days (wish they were on Disney Channel regularly) and Rescue Rangers (wsh they...
How true! And when I say that, I don't just mean Ross Jr. specifically, but anyone at all these days! That is interesting info!
I wonder what Ross Jr. thought of these albums by the Happy Chipmunks and the Happy Hamsters...
Good one! :)
I have to say, though there's a lot of filler, it's still fun as a time capsule, and should be released on DVD. Lucas would get so much money from the Star Wars completists, and if there were extras, that'd help.
Yes, it is pretty bad in parts, too, but not even 25% as bad as...
Very cool that you got it! I was checking amazon not too long ago (after hearing the great news that it was coming out) and didn't see it listed, but looks like it's time for me to look into it again, because I definitely want to own this - no question.
Ha! That's great Gonzo Leaper! If only you knew they'd be on DVD today (or that there'd be DVDs) you could have done both...it's just Teddy would've had to wait 20 something years - so you made the right choice!:D Although I must say, if you had a VCR, the timers were easier to work in the 80's...
Repetitive storylines are getting out of control, but if that's the story here, maybe it's told in a special way. And yes, it's cute for sure!
(How was Rango? It looks good, and as a fan of Harry Dean Stanton (voice of Balthazar in the movie) HDS being in it is a bonus! I know that sounds like...
I'm hoping those lawsuits didn't actually happen, and they were just mentioned to make a point. Because after all, I really appreciate the contributions of Ross and Janice thus far, and have such fond memories of the 80's Chipmunks! (And of course I really love the originals, too! Ross Sr...
Do you think the guard at the castle is the Yorick Muppet with headgear on?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8q0oMujqIg
At 1:12 it sure looks like Yorick :)
But of course, I know the character himself is not Yorick:wisdom:
The version of the story you heard (which might well be true!) and the version I heard, only have one difference: I heard after Columbia decided against Filmation making their show, they told Filmation they weren't making any show based on the Columbia film, so that's why Filmation went ahead...
Yes, both must have been made at the same time since Filmation's hit tv six days before Columbia's. The only thing was, when the deal fell through, it was because Columbia told Filmation they weren't going to make a cartoon at all. So that's why Filmation said, "Well I guess we can make a...
Ha! Interesting! I didn't notice that, becase even though I love the cartoons, and would love to own them all on DVD (but I know music rights are not helping such a release) I didn't recall those women in Dave's - just Miss Miller.:D
Also interesting! Good detective work!:search: I never knew...
