Puppetry has grown as an artform intensely since Jim started The Muppets. So many puppets have been created for different purposes by different people. Personally I'm not surprised at how large this thread has become.

Yeah I thought they were made my Henson. After all, a couple of the characters I saw on their TBS special I recognized from Jim Henson's Animal Jam and from other annonomous Muppet ensemble scenes.

I'd even call the puppets you see on "Puppet Up" Muppets myself.

Kermit was a puppet. Mickey was a cartoon. Cartoons are great; don't get me wrong. But Puppets stand out to me more because you can actually meet a puppet. I can chake hands with a guy in a Mickey suit sure, but I can actually shake Kermit's hand if I were to meet him. See what I mean?

The only reason I even knew Little Muppet Monsters existed was because they were part of The Muppets 30th Birthday Special I have recorded.

I remember as a kid I wanted a toy of Scooter, but couldn't find one. I was a youngerster long after theose doll came off the shelves. What a drag!

When I was in high school, some dudes put pictures of super models in bikinis and such in their lockers. Me? I had a picture of Janice playing her guitar looking upwards- very sexy pic for a puppet.

I know I was destined to be a Muppet fan when I was a kid and tried to talk while moving my mouth like a Muppet. Ya know, just open and close my mouth LOL

Muppet who play guitars left handed do so becasue the Muppeteers who play them are righthanded. Their righ hands play the heads and so the closest arm wire they can use is the left one, ya see?

I do enjoy that fight scene a great deal! Hearing about this album with that music on it makes me wish it was still on the market!

I did notice that now that you mention it. Nelson did a lot of that in The Irish Rodents number on Muppets Tonight as well.
