I absolutely adore Splurge. I just showed a friend Hey, Cinderella! a few nights ago. He's one of my all time favorite Muppets. I'd love to see him around again someday. I'm sure he's just quietly working in his radish garden right now.

re: Russell Crowe- Man, I should have thought of A Beautiful Mind and Jennifer Connely before suggesting that. Oh, well.
And now the obligatory Madonna joke: "I wouldn't mind taking a turn with Madonna..."
Hardee har har. Maybe it's only funny to me.

I can't find you right now, but I, for one, have an above average collection of Muppet related mp3s on WinMX. Mostly Sesame Street mp3s, cause they rock. Someone's downloading Kids Just Love To Brush right now, actually.
Anyway, if you wanna find me, I'll try to be on as much as I can. I'm...
I was playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon once and someone asked me to do Miss Piggy and I did it. Haha.
Anyway, a new one? Hmm. I've been out of town this weekend and have just discovered this thread...and I really don't feel like reading all of the posts right now, so I'll just suggest...
I got me a laserdisc player last month. They rock! It's the only way to get my favorite film ever (The Hill...find it and see it). Also got Babe (only way to get widescreen), and I've been hunting for Muppet Christmas Carol. I'd like Hey, Cinderella, too, but they don't pop up on ebay as...
Florida would be good for me. No, honestly, it would rock. There some wonderful places for conventions down here, like the one...grr, what's the name?..right near Disney is beautiful. It's a huge center for conventions with a big hotel and we could all go to MuppetVision 3D together and whew...
That makes sense.

P.S.- I was amusing myself by saying that Pearl Jam's song MFC (from their album Yield) secretly stood for Muppet Family Christmas. Alas.
MFC (isn't that a Pearl Jam song? Hmm...) is the best. I wish they wouldn't cut stuff up like that, though.
-Chris
P.S.- Pearl Jam's MFC stands for Mini Fast Car, I know, I know. But...what if...?
Lemme see. I'm assuming that Sesame Street songs are counting here. They'd better because:
01. I Don't Want To Live On The Moon (my favorite song ever, honestly)
02. If I Were
03. Something's Missing
04. The Frogs In The Glen
05. The Rainbow Connection
06. I'm Going To Go Back There...
I'm not a big 1999 fan, but I agree that Muppets From Space was quite disappointing. Not surprising, though, sadly.
I'm Going To Go Back There Someday has nothing to do with being an alien, you're right. It cheapens that whole song even suggesting that.
Anyway.
-Chris
Even after seeing the film, I still don't think of Gonzo as an alien. That's a bit easy, isn't it? He's still the *WHATEVER* printed across his "cabin" in The Great Muppet Caper to me. Alien. Silliness.
-Chris
Next time I'm at MGM Studios (which should be within the next few weeks), I'll be sure to take a whole lot of digital photographs of all the great posters that people always miss unless the line is really long (which it never is). Like The Pigsideon Adventure and such. I've seen some online...
Yeah, I think if you take a look at enough Muppet shows you can at least make some sketches. Most episodes show quite a bit of the backstage from quite a few angles (like the Julie Andrews episode with the cow). Sorry I'm not more helpful.
