I absolutely love and admire Frank Oz, but he brought the whole bad guy thing on himself by making the comment he did to reporters. He could have just said, " I turned the new movie down, I've deciding to keep pursuing my current directing projects" or something like that. There was no reason...
Yeah, both of these articles were great- it really pointed out that the Muppets are not perfect, nor are they meant to be...Kermit actually said it really well during his press interviews in Toronto this week when he said the Muppets are really successful failures: Fozzie is a comedian but a lot...
I know people have already said it on here but the "Fuss in Boots" bit was friggin BRILLIANT, and for so many reasons.
When they were first advertising for Puss in Boots, the release date was the same as the Muppets, but soon after the Muppets release date was announced Puss in Boots wisely...
All I can say is AWWWWWW!!!
I loved the Casablanca reference and it was so perfectly used here.
The whole Annie Sue/Jimmy charade was great too, they did a great impression of our fave couple.
This chapter really made me smile and sad at the same time. As always, can't wait to read more!
Hi Rocco! Thank you for sharing that video with us, it was priceless! I love Johnny Fiama too and I loved your reaction to your Muppet likeness. I think I would have done the same thing. It really brings me joy to know that fans like us are doing a lot of the work on this movie, so thank you...
ooh I really like this chapter! What a plot twist!
Even though I've always had a twinge of dislike for Annie Sue, I'm glad everything turned out ok for her..and her husband's name is Hormel, lol Love it!
Can't wait to see if they can pull it off!
If you don't think this thread is a good idea, then don't read it. Some people like spoilers and some don't. I definitely do not think that most of the movie's content is spoiled here- there are many aspects of this movie that no one could really depict on a forum thread and if you think people...
Wow- definitely a narrative of very heavy duty proportions :D
Love how Jimmy knows that Piggy wasn't ok, and that he has Piggy's profound "overhearing" skills. Jimmy's insights on his brother were great. I always love how you put so much depth into the characters....
while reading this whole...
Hooray!!! Update!
ooh Scribbler is so creepy! Not happy that he said he will see her in NY...
I hope Kermit and Piggy have time to have a proper goodbye, it would be hard on both of them.
Compelling work as always...can't wait to read more!
Exactly what I thought- I think that the idea behind the book was just to provide the plot and as many of us know the plot is only part of a movie- I think the plot will be very enriched and complemented when we see the movie but I think the book does a good job laying a foundation
That's a definite no, definitely no obscure character; just the traditional core group of Muppets, with Pepe added. I will say that Uncle Deadly had a much larger role than what I expected.
I went crazy and bought three keychains and a long necklace that has the word "Diva" in a giant star along with a pearl and a smaller star with Piggy's face in the middle, at like $7 for the necklace and $3.50 for each key chain I couldn't refuse! I took some pics on my phone; I'll try to get...
Cool- really glad that they are trying to make them more accessible by selling them at Toys R Us and including a variety of different hair, noses, etc. Yeah, they should of at least put one or two shirts or something in there- we could have a lot of naked Whatnots, lol.
Hmm, maybe I'll ask for...
