Can I kick him?
Oh wait, that would be mean... haha... sorry Luke, but someone has to fill the abuse void in your online life.... IM is taking care of it IRL.
The topiaries at Sesame Place are always wonderful! Thanks so much for posting that, because I didn't know that they were done by students. I take pictures of them every summer. I would scan and post, but can't do that here. Let me just say that they are terrific!!!
There was a little more to it than that, like the thousands and thousands of people who died that day, but of course, if I bring them up, you will just start spouting more rhetoric about the innocent Iraquis who will die in the war. The war isn't all about 9/11, then again, you are happy to...
Wow!
If I am ever in Latrobe, I plan to check that out. It sounds great!
Thanks for sharing that with us. I knew a guy from Latrobe once. I had a crush on him in college. I even referred to him as "Shane from Latrobe". You are just stirring up all sorts of nostalgia.
Quite to the contrary, MuppetsRule's post was right on target, and a whole lot nicer about it than some people might be. You call him harsh, yet go on to say he reminds you of something that disgusts you to "no end"? Remind *me* why you thought it was necessary to comment at all...
After I read it over, I realized what you were trying to say. I guess my point is that I don't know where "people" are coming up with the idea that the war would be over in a matter of days or weeks. It has seemed to me that the government has been very up front in saying that this will be a...
Who claimed that you called me a baby? There is nothing childish about my stating that I wish you would take your vehement political opinions against my country and the war to a political forum. At least I had the tenacity to outright say it, rather than hide it at the bottom of another rabid...
I really don't know where you are coming up with that. From his very first speeches, Bush has told us that it will be a lengthy endeavor. The military analysts all say that it may be months and months before the "fighting" portion of the war is over. Perhaps the viewing public has hoped or...
I have been here for a long enough length of time to know that you are swiftly losing any credibility you held with many posters by your non-stop insistence on droning on about your feelings toward the war and American politics in general. I am sure there are many forums designed just for that...
Sidcrowe,
This thread is supposed to answer the question of "gratuitous news coverage". We all know your opinion on the war. Must you keep repeating yourself?
Showing the weather in Iraq on local news really does make sense though. People want to know what our soldiers are dealing with on a day to day basis (ie: heat, sand storms, etc.).
