Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Doesn't sound nothing... Double negative. Now that I listen back to the clip, Matt's voice also sounds a little like Steve's first impression.

Not change, evolve. There's a difference. Listen, I hope you realize that Matt's Kermit is not going to be a complete and accurate replica of Jim's Kermit. Besides, like people said before, it isn't as much about the voice as it is much of the mannerisms and how the legacy is continued.

I'm very proud of Matt. The voice indeed does sound a bit rubbery, but it'll evolve. Let's all take a flashback to Steve and Jim's first performances. Different, eh? Same with Matt. It'll change and we'll get used to it. Let's just all hope for the best.

Twelve Year-Old Ventriloquist Darci Lynne on America's Got Talent

Her mouth isn't necessarily closed, there is a gap between her teeth. Look more into ventriloquism, you'll kind of get the act.

Twelve Year-Old Ventriloquist Darci Lynne on America's Got Talent

Meh. She kind of stole the joke of liking Mel from the Ira act, and sang again. I'm not too wowed.

Well it sounds to me from his documentary that everyone else had a good relationship with Caroll, so I don't think that scenario could've happened.

Right, but most importantly we should never forget where characters came from and their roots; The Jim Henson Company. They HAVE to get say in this.
