Cole slaw, yes. Boiled, no. Sauerkraut, big no. Brussels Sprouts, definitely no. Nasty little fart bombs.
I'm be trying my Irish roots, but with St Paddy's Day coming up, no corned beef and cabbage for me. Cabbage, obviously why.
However, corned beef the next day makes fantastic hash. I can eat...
I never had any contact with Rohail at all. It's just typical of his crap.
Case in point- back in 2015 when "The Boy, Girl, and the Jelly Beans"surfaced for the first time in decades, people my age were stoked.
Then his entry-
Marshallgrovercat ChicagoLion blah blah blah blah blah ad nauseum...
It depends on who you're talking to. Listening really is a skill, and not everybody can do it well. Some people's attention span is so short it's pitiful.
Because of all the crap I had to deal with in my life, it made me more compassionate to listen to others. Others took time to listen to me...
My mom and sister live just outside Nashville. The rest of my family is up here.
Got to visit in 2012, really liked it down there. If I'm led to move down there, I'll go.
Out of rehab, into a hotel with a handicap room.
Safe so my hip can heal. No stairs.
It will take 8 weeks or so (3 down, 5 to go), but things are moving forward.
And God has His healing hand on me.
For anybody bellyaching about waiting for new episodes, clips, etc..
I'm still waiting patiently for the Sesame clip of "Up Up and Away".
Most of you never saw it. Last time I saw it? 1972. 46 years and counting.
Two years? Make it to five, then tell me something about waiting. And patience.
Frank had no business being in the Army.
He couldn't operate.
He couldn't lead in Blake or Potter's absence.
He couldn't operate a gun- or drive a tank for that matter.
The best he could do at being a soldier was capturing a refugee family and an ox.
He hurled racial slurs at Potter and Kelleye...
A good Samaratin. Bless her. I know I could've had it worse, I didn't split my head open, or do any damage to my spine.
I slipped on ice before, but I always got up, dusted myself off, cursed the ice, but that was it. This time I couldn't get up, couldn't move, that scared me, and it takes a lot...
That is the difference. For all his arrogance, snobbery, and bellyaching, there is a hint of humanity in Charles that shone through.
Frank at best was just a sniveling mess.
Saturday February 17 I fell on ice and broke my hip.
The first week in the hospital was the most painful. But the 12 days I've been here in rehab made great strides every day.
I got more mobility in my right leg, climbing stairs with a crutch.
Best of all, most of the pain is gone. For a while...
Towards the end, it got harder for the Hawkeye & BJ vs. Charles feud to keep going. Charles snoring, toothaches, etc. wore pretty thin.
The episode with Hawkeye and BJ's body odor vs. Charles' French horn was pretty lame. Hawk and Beej get dunked with suds, and the horn gets run over by a jeep...
Medium well with a good sear on the outside. To make it more tender, when you throw it on the grill, let a couple pats of butter melt down.
No matter how you like it done, you only need to flip it once.
And never never NEVER take a spatula (or tongs) and press down.
That squeezes all the juice...
