I was sitting there watching SNL as I always do every weekend, and I was hoping and praying Big Bird would make an appearance especially during the opening sketch. When that didn't happen I was thinking maybe he would show up in the monologue. That didn't happen either.... lol So there I...
You can find all kinds of good stuff at Goodwill. I walked in one of them about a year ago and there sitting with the toys was a vintage Fisher Price Kermit plush in mint condition! Of course, I already had one but it just broke my heart to see him sitting there with no home... so I bought...
I dont know if anyone mentioned this or not, but I can't tell you how many older people I knew as a kid would call the Muppets the "Muffets". It would drive me crazy. My step-sister even said it after we left Muppet Vision 3D at Disney Hollywood Studios, "That Muffet show was great." lol...
It's so funny that somebody brought this up because I was thinking the same thing. Janice cracks me up... I've always liked her. I know that she and Floyd are pretty solid in the love department but you have to feel bad for poor old Zoot. During the first season of TMS she was always with...
I found out about Jerry's passing late last night and I didn't sleep well at all. I know he had struggled with health problems in the last few years but it was just a shock to hear that he had died. I don't know if many of you are big Disney buffs but Walt Disney had nine core animators that...
I am so sad to hear about this!! He was so talented and such a great performer. Even though many of his characters have new voices it's still sad to know that another Muppet performer's voice has been silenced. :( RIP Jerry :sing:
Ive seen several interviews with Alice Cooper over the last decade and the question about his appearance on TMS has always been asked. Just like here, he said it was one of the best and most fun things he ever did! He said that most fans he ran into asked about that appearance too! I think...
There are so many that I loved but for me the best one was from the Gilda Radner episode with the pigs and penguins singing "Lullaby of Broadway" in the Arctic! LOL :zany:
I saw this video yesterday and wasnt going to say anything about it. But of course it was on my mind all day and now I've got to say something! LOL I love Frank Oz and all the work he has done with The Muppets, Star Wars, his hilarious films, etc.... but I don't understand why he always says...
Here's my wish about the Electric Mayhem CD.... It would be awesome to have a "greatest hits" of numbers done from The Muppet Show and the films (as someone mentioned earlier) BUT... how awesome would it be to have a live stage show that could travel to small venues that would feature the...
Thank you for telling me about that. I had always wondered why they made them that way. I've seen other characters besides the Muppets released by them. :)
Does anybody know why they give them black eyes like that? I'm not really digging that to much. I'm glad to see Kermit's eyes are normal and Mahna Mahna and the Snowth look good but the others just look freaky with black eyes!! I still might buy Dr. Teeth though.... He's the man! :D
The Muppet Movie was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. My Mom took me to see it and she later told me that I never once moved or got up from my seat ( I was three years old at the time)! She said I just sat there and was mesmerized by it all. :)
