I'd love to see "The Frog Prince" on DVD, along with the rest of the "Tales From Muppetland" specials. ("Hey Cinderella", "The Muppet Musicians of Bremen", and even "Tales of the Tinkerdee"- though that'd be incredibly rare, I know.)
At least "Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas" is on DVD.
I'm glad to see Sesame Workshop is still working on adding to their clips repertoire and even improving ones already posted. Yes! Bring on the classic Sesame Street clips!:):wisdom::p:(:insatiable::super::batty::search::laugh:
Unfortunately, I didn't see the original 3 Muppet movies in theaters (not quite old enough)- but I do recall going to see all the Muppet movies in theaters, from "The Muppet Christmas Carol" forward. As to "Muppets From Space"- I too noticed that there weren't original Muppet songs there, but...
It seems doubtful that a special or anything would be happening this year (but I'll certainly welcome it if so). I'd enjoy seeing another Muppet TV-movie or special of some sort. I LOVE Christmas, so I always welcome new Christmas specials with the Muppets! But I wouldn't mind seeing something...
In a much too small apartment- lol.:D:fanatic:
I didn't feel like (or maybe realize) I had so many Muppet items until I listed them all out:search:....I guess I do have a number of items. The big problem is when you have multiple fandoms- then you wind up with a lot of collections of...
I have a couple of different Muppet items, but my main collection is videos.
Of the items that are not videos, I have:
Palisades' Kermit the Frog action figure:)
A late '70s Scooter figure;)
Some of the 1988 Fraggle Rock toys released with McDonald's Happy Meals (I know I have Boober and...

Well, both Bobby Benson and his Baby Band and Wayne and Wanda have appeared in "The Muppets" and "Muppets Most Wanted", so at least they've appeared in movies together. I don't recall any interaction between them but I'm thinking they're at least in some crowd scenes together.
"Cooperation" is one of my favorites (featuring Muppets working together in an inner city garden)
Big Bird's song "That's Cooperation" is good too- both speak to the idea of working together.
Given time, I'd say possibly. "The Muppets Wizard of Oz" is obviously not the biggest hit, but it would be nice to see all the various Muppet movies and TV-movies, etc. out on Blu-Ray. (Of course, since I don't have a Blu-Ray player, I'd prefer to see them all out on DVD- especially specials...
Yes, I know Beauregard now fills the role of janitor, but I'd still like to see George show up again somewhere. I always found him to be pretty funny in the first season of The Muppet Show. Didn't he and Mildred Huxtetter have a thing going? I got so excited just seeing Mildred in the background...
Much as Dr.Tooth said earlier, while streaming can be a great thing- and it is really cool to see classic Sesame Street episodes on both iTunes and now Netflix- I'm also glad to own classic episodes on DVD via the "Old School" releases. Sometimes it's nice to have something permanent that you...
The Jim Henson Creature Shop did an amazing job on the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies- I definitely agree.:)
And yes- you can definitely tell the difference in the third movie, though I don't think the third movie is a bad movie- I enjoy all of the first three movies. I enjoy...
Looks pretty cool! Great to see Uncle Deadly and Timmy Monster in a Muppets video game. It'd be awesome to see other Muppet monsters make appearances too.:grr:
No matter how minute, it is still a point in the plot- though obviously they must have been caught. I'd call it more of a nitpick, I guess. I don't have an issue with pondering on minutiae details of movies- but I agree that it should be done in the appropriate thread.
It's important to...
Labyrinth on Sesame Street would be awesome!!! Especially if David Bowie agreed to reprise the role of Jareth on Sesame Street. Bring on the Skesis and Jen and Kira from "The Dark Crystal" while you're at it.:scary::)
Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up. I definitely LOVE classic Sesame Street from 1969, the '70s and '80s. (Okay, I love the '90s, 2000's, and 2010's episodes too of course- but those first 21 years are particularly nostalgic for me.)
I hope someone is updating Muppet Wiki on these...
Barkley is prominently featured on the cover of the "Being Brave" Sesame Street DVD- you might like to check that one out too.
Funny that he was originally Linda's dog- but I can see her leaving him with Bob when she left Sesame Street- maybe she just couldn't have a dog at her new...
