As a huge Bear fan of recent years, yet being without cable...I am really curious how the new season is going. I know there was mixed reactions to the season opener...but in general since then, what do you guys think of the new season?
I'm really hoping Disney and JHC have a late fall holiday...
Maybe I should clarify that one...what is your favorite obscure, ad created mascot, or hardly ever seen Muppet? Which ones do you miss? I submit to you a laundry list of "who???" worthy suspects.
I have a weird sense of humor and taste sometimes...so it shouldnt surprise anyone when I say...
It's been said EM.TV sold off all the rights to our beloved Sesame Street to CTW/SWS, negating any possible crossover.
We since learned that while in paper that might be the case, boy aint nothing can stop the crossover appeal and partnership.
Case in point Elmo at Muppetfest. And boy...
Going by various new threads on here, and stuff Ken has said...Im curious if it is now official that Pepe is finally going to be made? and if so what series?
I remember a lot of resistance to a Pepe in a series six before it was learned it was going to a more general Muppets brand in 2003...
Well, the impossible has happened, and after all this time I finally have a J-O-B! Yes, the de facto psuedo MC empiracle thought kid is now the new stock room heirophant on the fabled second floor of Pottery Barn. Ornate minimalistic furniture and dinner ware hand crafted from the Southern tip...
Well, Ive been in a bit of a creative mood recently...so for my Mom's birthday recently, I made her a Joe the Armadillo figure.
I think Jackie and others into Mr. Armadillo will get a kick out of this;) heh

Kermitage before it opened got a nice yahoo plug. Now, the time has come for Muppet Central to get a HUGE online push...4 years in the works, the new site is nothign less than astonishing. I really feel this is starting to become a new era for the Muppets...and Muppetcentral.com is proof of...
I did my weekly trip to the local Hot Topic recently, as they know Im the big Muppet fan. They pointed me to the corner of the entrance saying 'Oh you'll love this new Muppet stuff!'. So Im thinking 'yeah!' And when I get there I get greated by a bevy of 'Crank Yanker' merchandise....!?!?! Well...
I was just cruious like a lot on here how Jerry Nelson is doing. Luke had mentioned he was ill at the time of the small FR gathering not to long ago.
Besides being one of the longest JHC team senior Muppeteers, he has been one of the most fanfriendly to Muppet online community JHC people...
Ok, Butchcat and Kprell have to be excluded from this;) But Im curious what non JHC employed/former employed Muppet fans on here have actually gotten to meet a Muppet in real life? It is all our dream on here to someday meet the Muppets in person.
For me, technically the only Muppet Ive...
As a huge Bear in the Big Blue House fan of 5 years, it' sgreat to know that a new season is finally kicking off today! I don't have cable, but would love to know what your thoughts on season 4 are! I'm really hoping that between the new season and the holidays approaching there will be a new...
Admit it, would'nt plush or figures or something based off young Kermit, Croaker(my personal fave of the three...Bill you rule!) and Goggles be too cool?
I am a bit sad the promotion for KSY has been low(I even checked Sbarros to see if they had a KSY tie in, as they always have...
After seeing KSY dvd, I have to scream fromt he rooftops...Joe the Armadillo is the best new loveable Muppet character since Pepe. Heck, JHC is on a roll, as I LOVED Mo Frackle as well when he debuted last Fall.
The behind the scenes feature on KSY dvd are enough to convince me that Joe the...
This is definately a Henson Headline...KErmit Swamp Years dvd rocks!
I finally broke down and bought KSY on dvd, not expecting much. I just need to say your one reason to buy this dvd:
Joe The Armadillo! Wow. I'll get to that newfound gem lately...
but here is my point by point breakdown...
It is my sincere hope, that unless UPS changes their archaic ways people will stop using them.
Hss anyone on here had problems with UPS, or been frustrated by them? You see once again...today I find a note on the floor from UPS, saying it was a 2nd attempt and the third would be final. You...
I give up. In an attempt to see how bad KSY is fo rmyself(so people cant accuse me of pre judging) I went to all the local rental stores...no KSY. Well one had it on vhs, but its the dvd extras that would keep me from not being completely aggrivated...the vhs would just be a bad special marketed...
Well well well...the new wave of Muppet stuff is really coming in. Though Ive given up on trying to find collector worthy Sesame stuff(those lucky Japanese, where they make Sesame stuff for older collectors!) I did find a whole new wave of Muppet goodness.
First up, go to your loca dolalr...
Finally, I would so love to have after all these years:
The MV3D travel channel documentary/imagineers thing, Cosby Muppets episode, Muppets on Nightline, and The Tubes JHH test pilot. Much to trade, email me if ya have these in good quality!
(ie: not a copy of a copy of a copy)
For those newer to Muppet Central, or just wondering what the heck were talking about sometimes, I have compiled a list of all the abbreviations and their terms on here. These usually consist of three things: tv shows, specials, and movies:
*MC=Muppet Central
*MF=Muppetfest
*TMS=The Muppet...
A fan would hardly know it was the 20th year Annv of Fraggle Rock or even Dark Crystal. Even a year ago I would have thought JHC would commenorate *somehow* this. Hmmm....
