I like to use stainless steel welding rods (for TiG welding). They are 3/32" and come in 3' lengths. They are sold by the pound and run about $.50 per rod which makes a pair of arm rods. They are hard to bend but very durable.
The joke lies in that two in binary is written 10.
Yeah, it's a math thing counting in ones and zeros. Counting to five in binary (please hold all applause until the end): 0,1,10,11,100,101...ah,ha, ha..*thunder, lightning*...
Okay, since there seems to be a math hostility, I'll slink...
So, which one are you? Ray or Egon?...
It was alot different in engineering classes. Everything was ones and zeros which reminds me of an engineering joke.
There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
I never knew that song had words. Wow! I once heard a vocal group do it with "bings" and "bongs" (not the Tommy Chong kind). It was hauntingly beautiful. (I'm trying to use the word "hauntingly" more often.)
"What Child is This" is my favorite, along with "Christmastime is Here" (Charlie Brown). Just recently at Cumberland College's Madrigal Dinner they did "Mary, Did You Know?" which was always, in my mind (don't ask why), makes me think of Easter, but it makes a hauntingly brilliant Christmas...
My puppets are themselves, little actors. Each performance, a character description directs the puppeteers in how the puppet plays the part. The puppets then become the actors.
Now, certain puppeteers interact well will certain puppets and I let them develop a character for the puppet, but...
I think alot of people have a more idealistic an understanding of the world than others. I can say that, because when I was a younger person, my thoughts and ideas were "more idealistic" than they are now. I see some of the things on this forum (and elsewhere) and remember I was there once...
Yeah, when one of those goes down, they don't even report it. ;)
Sounds like those CanAir planes Delta flies between Lexington and Cincinnati. Capacity 52 including passengers and crew. A cigar tube with wings.
I was asked to take over the puppet ministry at my church when the previous director moved to open a bed and breakfast in another town. (Answered prayer, but that's another story. Not that I wanted them to go, I didn't pray for that, but I am rambling on, aren't I?)
We needed, in my opinion...
I'm on the road to financial peace, a la Dave Ramsey. I'm in the middle of baby step 2. No disposable income. Oh, well, nice idea Michele.
Merry Christmas, anyhow.
Did you ever see the one where a bunch of office people were standing by a water cooler when a shot rings out, one of the workers goes down and the next frame shows a bunch of deer standing around in hunting clothes congratulating one of them for the kill?
LMBO!
I actually hid in the bathtub...
I've been a Calvin and Hobbs fan since our closest "city" paper picked it up in syndication. I miss it. I've got several of Watterson's books, but it's just not the same as having to wait for the next day's paper.
I love the Avatar!!!
Actually, because of my affection for the delightful Miss Piggy, I must at times pay homage with a fitting avatar. She is the perfect....hmm...woman.
Actually, I lied, I love attention, but I can't think of anything I've done worth being recognized. I ususally have to...
