still waiting for volume 3 of RTL
As we know December 11 2007 has come and gone and so has December 11 2008. When will the next installment in this series come out? I am also anxiously awaiting the release of the second volume of Legends Of the Dark Crystal.
Hmmm, Oscar smells. Well he lives in a garbage can that also houses elephants, goats, pigs and various other animals, so he probably smells like a combination of old garbage, stinky sweatsocks, and rotting banana peels. However, no smell no matter how bad can match that of The Bog of Eternal...
I liked it
I actually liked it. In fact as a true collector I bought the trading cadrds that promoted the movie and I had the entire set until my infant son got to them and made pinocchio confetti out of some of them. :p BTW I al;ways found the scene where Pinocchio turns into a donkey...
Strange
Didn't henson already do Pinocchio? It has potential as a horror film and I'm all for recycling, but in the end when the DVD comes out the company will be competing against itself as fans choose which of his versions they liked better to either buy or rent.:shifty:
Got it read it liked it
I got it, read it and liked it. I especially liked the political chapter wher he tells what he would do as president. He has my vote.
Went to Whatnot workshop
I took my kids to see the Whatnot workshop, didn't buy any though, money was tight. I thought that we were actually gonna get to play around with parts kinda' like at the Mr. Potato Head display at Manhattan's Disney Store and make and unmake our Muppet whatnots using...
international cast visiting
What I would like is a special where the cast of international SS shows come to visit the American SS. It's fun that Rosita from Mexico's SS is here permanently, but maybe they could do a few specials where Big Bird and Oscar meet all their cousins, and all the other...
Awhile ago I had a mug of Kermit. I accidentally broke it by smashing it into the sink during an argument with my wife:o . We have since resolved the argument. But I have not been able to find another of this particular piece online. Perhaps if I describe it someone can help me.
It was green...
Chapter 12
Chapter 12
"Do any of you have any personal items that belonged to your parents?" said Bunsen.
"Yes," said John, reaching into his suitcase, "this robe belonged to my father," he pulled out the old robe that he always wore when he told his stories.
Bunsen looked at the robe...
Under my skin
I was at a 60th birthday party for one of my wife's coworkers and the song "I've Got You Under My Skin" was playing and even though it was sung by The Chairman of the Bored (Frank Sinatra) I couldn't help but think of the great parody of it that was done during a Muppet Halloween...
I know this is an old movie, but my wife and I rented "Hope Floats for New Year's Eve. and I liked the scene where "Travis" was imagining he was a frog and his grandma called him "Kermit"
Chapter 11
Chapter 11
After lunch the two storytellers went outside while Sarah called a cab to take them to the royal estate where the will was to be read.
“So, who do you think is your half-sister’s real father?” asked John.
“Biologically I have no idea, but she is my sister, no matter...
Missed it
I missed it, my wife and I were a little busy, making tadpoles. I tuned in at about 11:59:20. Anybody tape it and put it on youtube or some other website?
Thanks Beaker, as you can see, for some reason on my second typing of it souvlaki was edited to sulky, but otherwise my Greek translation site helped me on numbers 1, 2 , 3 and 4. The will reading will be next and then I will end this piece.
My wife had this brilliant idea for Christmas this year. Instead of getting a real tree. She was going to order an artificial one over the internet. So she orders a white Christmas tree, that according to the box was supposed to be 6.5 feet tall when we set it up. Well, the tree was white, but...
Hmmmm hmmm
I can sympathize with you Johnathan I was a substitute teacher with the DOE but early in my career a student cursed at me, basically he dropped the F-bomb) I told him I was not thrilled by his language and the pincipal of the school I was working at overheard it and gave me a "U"...
I just received the Dark Crystal DVD anniversary edition. It was interesting, but I wondered with all the talk I've heard here about a sequel to DC called Power of the Dark crystal and a sequel to Labyrinth where are the previews. I mean the colorized versions of the old B-movies of Harryhausen...
