Sesame Street is good for young and old...the idea of the show from the beginning is to make a show that "your child will wanna watch" along with a show "you'll wanna watch as well".
I have the others you listed except for 3827 and 3909, since they are after the 29th season...I do plan on getting the others up eventually, and when I do, I'll put the link up like I did with the "Missing Street Sign" episode...
Yeah, I'm in the process of (finally) converting them to DVD... For a while, the only episodes I really cared about were the old classic shows that Noggin aired, so those are archived...but I've grown to appreciate the 90s a bit more than I did at the time...there were some really good...
It's okay...Yeah, I was much younger then (14 or so), so to save tapes (and money to buy tapes), I kind of "self edited" the shows as I taped them...but the street scenes and Muppet inserts are intact, unless I happen to have a particular sketch on another tape...I tried to keep track on...
I have a LOT of episodes from 1993 to 1998...most are "Self-edited", meaning, mostly street scenes and cast inserts...maybe you have some of the missing numbers...And, if you have any shows from the 80s that didn't air on Noggin, that'd be cool too...if you want me to Email you my list, I'd be...
Oh, thanks! I do have some gems, & enjoy sharing them with fellow fans... At first, I was concentrating more on the earlier shows, but when I suddenly got so many requests for 90s material, it's making me go back and check the archives...I don't have all the tapes converted to DVD yet, but at...
I know...of course, back then, there was no YouTube, and I thought that everybody was taping the show like me, so in hindsight, I should've captured more onto tape, but I'm glad I got some goodies...many which will be uploaded soon
Unfortunately, I kind of "self edited" the shows as I was taping them....I basically concentrated on the street scenes and any inserts that I didn't have already, to save tape... Plus, I heard it's not wise to upload full episodes onto YouTube...
Yeah, I stopped taping the show in '98 due to getting a satellite dish (they didn't carry PBS)... This was in preparation for Noggin...
I know I have some of those episodes listed, if not all (definitely have the Shari Lewis episode and the "missing street sign" one)..
I'll try to have them...
No, sorry to say... That was about the time that I had a satellite installed, and they didn't carry PBS... I got the satellite in preparation for Noggin...which I'm glad I did, but it would've been nice to record both the old and new shows at the same time
Howdy everybody!
It's been a long time, but I'm back :) I have a YouTube channel for those who are interested in seeing some classic Sesame Street clips from 1969 through 1998...
