I actually like the design and execution of HKP here. It's a nice mix between the original design and a the texture of an actual dog. It's unfortunate though that the filmmakers feel they have to resprt to a grotesque amount of not just gross out humor but quite literally bathroom humor as if...
Anybody have Paul Williams test track for "Waterville" from the stage production of Emmet Otter. My file isn't working anymore and the youtube post of it is now missing the first 30 seconds.

You know everyone talks about commentaries from the people who are still alive, but I something that Disney and a few other have done are retro-commentaries where they take old audio from deceased actors, writers, producers, etc. and add those in. I'd like to see them do a director's commentary...
The original DVD from 10 years ago had a blooper reel listed as "On the Set". I'm guessing that's the same thing. The only new stuff here is the Muppet commentary and the christmas caroling when you pause.
I posted this in the Muppet Merch thread but I though I would post this here too. I found an interview with Jerry Juhl on Amazon you can purchase for $3 and is really awesome. It's a 20 minute interview but he gives a pretty thorough as he talks about the history of the Muppets.
You can find...
Was looking for Muppet books on Amazon and came across this. It's a 20 minute interview with Jerry J where he talks about the early days of the Muppets and IS AWESOME!!!! It says you need an audible account but I was able to use my amazon account information...
Those are the one's that Palisades produced back in 2003. Sam was from a set that had him Thog and Mahna Mahna. Doglion, Chef (with the chicken), Scooter, Bunsen and Beaker were sold on their website. Bean is from a set of PVCs I purchased years ago in Disney/MGM.
Palisades also made two...
There were quite a few sets. They're running a promotion this week where the sets are 1 for $12.50 or 2 for $20. So they had 4 or 5 sets with their Muppet display and a bunch more over with the their other figures.

ok, so as I said, I bought the figures today at the Disney Store. For $13 they're pretty good.
The figures are a scooch smaller than the figurines produced by Palisades so if you're a real stickler for scale, you may ant to display these separately. I actually found it a little jarring at...
Went out and picked these up at my "local" Disney store tonight. They're pretty cool. I'll post pics and a brief review when I have a wee bit more time later tonight.
Is there anyone who's picked these up and could poct a picture of them next to either a) one of the Palisades figurines or b) one ofthe old 1980s Schleich figures just for size comparison. Trying to get an idea of how big they are.

Warrick,
That was the pre-show to the old 'Here come the Muppets" show at Disney MGM studios. the show itself was a 15 min performance with walk-around Muppets (Kermit, PIggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Bean, and the EM band). But the presehow was this hilarious bit featuring Rowlf and Sam with Rowlf...
I got the skating friends one for my daughter. I'm waffling on the soccer set with Count and Elmo. Waiting to see if they announce any more at Toy Fair this week. May also look into getting the school bus. my daughter is obsessed with school buses.
