I was wondering if someone could help me here. I saw a commercial with the Muppets and they were talking to celebrities. I think it was for an insurance company or something. See, I didn't see it real well because I watched it at the rec center and I couldn't see the TV too closely from where...
I thought I'd mention this. Fred Garbo, who played Barkley the dog on "Sesame Street" in the 80s is going to appear in this Celebrity Artist Series at Bloomsburg University. It's called "Inflated Egos" and it's appearing next Friday night at 7pm. If you're in the area, stop by. :)
Hi. I know this is kind of last minute, but I just noticed that Roscoe Orman was going to be on the "Today" show on NBC to promote his book "Sesame Street Dad." Just thought I'd mention it.
Here's something I'm kind of curious about. I've noticed that when they show segments from American "Sesame Street" on "Plaza Sesamo" and dub them into Spanish, a lot of the voices sound really good. It makes me wonder if those are the actual Muppeters. For example, could it have been...
Something I want to ask about here. I just saw the Sesame Street ep today where Gordon takes Elmo to the ball game and he needs to find a fish sitter. On that episode they showed Ernie singing "Rubber Duckie." I'm kind of wondering if that was the original version from 1969. Ernie's voice...
Forgive me if this is the wrong forum for posting this, but I was at the Bloomsburg fair today and at the stands for one of the games I heard "Doo doo doo doo doo." After listening for a while, I realized it was that famous Muppet tune. Just thought I'd bring that up.
I've noticed a minor error on the Muppet Morsels. They were counting Miss Piggy's karate chops. They counted 21 for the first season, but I think they missed a few.
The first one was in the Charles Aznavour episode where Piggy knocked Kermit off the wall.
Then there was the opening joke...
Hi. Forgive me if I'm posting on the wrong thread, but I had a question about the extras on the Muppet Show DVDs. I have watched them on Volume 6 (the only volume I have in DVD form) and I was wondering how old they are. That did sound like Steve's Kermit in the "I Love Lucy" sketch, but...
Hi, this has nothing to do with Muppets, but since this is the 'general discussion' forum. I thought I'd post here. I keep seeing this ad from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company that says 'smokers over 21 win a flat screen TV.' No offense to any smokers here. But that is a bad habit and not...
Hi. I know I've asked about this before, but does anyone know of a good place to buy Muppet videos. I don't mean on Amazon or anything like that I mean an actual walk-in store. I spent most of yesterday looking for "Muppet Family Christmas." I checked out Target, Wallmart, Barns & Noble, but...
I'm taking a course on Dinosaurs this semester and I've been looking through the professor's website. In the center of a site there is a picture of Earl, "the mighty megalasaurus." I thought that was cool, especially since we talked about the Megalasaur in class today. Of course, the first...
I have a question about Eric Jacobson. I saw an Eric Jacobson in the Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Day Parade. He was describing the new 3D Mickey Mouse movie. What I want to know is if that's the same Eric Jacobson who has recently taken the role of Frank Oz's characters or am I...
I just read at imdb.com, that this guy has been performing Ernie on "Sesame Street" lately. What happened to Steve Whitmire? I also read that he is performing Oscar on the Sesame Street 4-D thing? What about Carroll Spinney or Matt Vogel. Where did this new guy come from? Just curious.
I just read at the tvtome episode guide that in this movie Sam the Eagle had a full head of hair from taking medication. However, I don't remember that part in the movie. I actually thought that was the only scene where he was shown. Can someone give me more info on this? Thanks.
Okay, I'm going to pull a Phil here, but there's something I'm curious about. I just got the tape with the Beverly Sills episode today and noticed Gladys the Cow from "Sesame Street" had a brief appearance. She even had a speaking line. I also read that she appeared in a first season episode...
I just heard that song on Muppet Central Radio. They said it was by Miss Piggy and the pigs, but I didn't hear Miss Piggy. Was that from a first season episode where Richard was performing Miss Piggy. I thought I heard his Miss Piggy voice, but I wasn't sure. If it was from a first season...
Well, I got the tape with the Rita Moreno episode today. I've noticed other than Piggy and Janice with different voices, there were quite a few character changes. Marvin Suggs sounded a little different. I wonder if he was still performed by Frank. To me it sounded like, there was a hint of...
