Muppet Convention Thread #2: Where Should it be Held?

Hiya Lola! Thanks for the input. Well, we certainly do have a Twitter but I'm not sure about the 'trending' bit....only cause I'm a total dork when it comes to technology. But I do know about how Toonami came back so that is probably a good idea if we aren't doing it already. We don't have a...

Waldorf Salad! A Mixed bag of Muppets!

Hahahaha! Your advice is to wallow in doom and gloom?! lol That's crazy talk...but funny. I did enjoy the article...but you should add more. What else can you say about Boober? What perplexities does his character have? Dig deeper! I wanna know more. ^_^ Even so, it was good.

    A Muppety Day in NYC

Haha, yeah! A good friend of mine picked up one of those and then had a heck of a time with Fozzie's 'stroke mouth.' He said he practically had to put him through rehab before it felt more natural. Keep at it! You've gotta break him in and then use his quirks to your advantage.

Fraggle Rock Movie Gets Screenwriters (Hollywood Reporter)

Well said, Dr. T! Corey Edwards, at the very least, seemed to have the right direction in mind. Understatement is the key here. As wild and nutty as Fraggles can be, there was always a very intelligent creative team in the driver's seat making even their wild romps a little tongue in cheek...

    Questions about anything

*grins* EASY! Lady luck....since the only way to finish off a contest between two equals would be a chance circumstance.

Fraggle Rock Movie Gets Screenwriters (Hollywood Reporter)

I -still- think that the best thing would be to just have inclusion of Fraggles and Fraggle sketches along with other Muppety things. They don't need a whole movie! Let them do some gags here and there. Let them make appearances. It would be so much better to have a random sprinkling of truly...

Fraggle Rock Movie Gets Screenwriters (Hollywood Reporter)

Sure, Pal! That's what I'm here for....to point out the obvious. Anytime ...but I thought Mokey and Red were your favs. Haha! More Wembling. Well they are all lovable. Its all good.

Video: "Share it Maybe" Sesame Street Parody

HAHAHAHAHA! Genius. Once again, making proper use of pop culture pays off! Kudos, Cookie Monster! I love this.

Fraggle Rock Movie Gets Screenwriters (Hollywood Reporter)

*folds arms* Until I see that the original look and feel and general tone of this show is done justice, I'm not interested in a Fraggle Rock movie. The more I think about it, the more I think that there's waaaaaay more that could go wrong than right. Best to remember them as the lovable little...

    The Great Muppet travel guide?

Well, that depends at how in depth you wanna go with this. You can goball out and have pictures andblinks and descriptions....commentary from visitors. You could do a whole snazzy page! Ooor just a list of places and the bullet points. Where...what...etc.

    The Great Muppet travel guide?

; That makes not a lick of sense to me but then I have the organizational skills of a crazed monkey. Anyway....I think your idea is really good! At first, I thought this was going to be a compilation of all the places the Muppets went to in the movies...then we could take the same...

Contest: Design art for Fraggle Rock 30th anniversary merchandise

I'm only just now seeing this, Chris. What a bang up job! I like the use of monochrome here and the whole feel of it, actually. It's chock-full of Fraggly goodness and cameos outside of the 5. Nice touch!

Great first article, Handsome frog! That was really good.

Who wants the future Muppet movies to be...

No. I think that the whole artistry of it lies within the puppeteering. It isn't simply about preserving the characters, but the performance style itself. Saying that the physical Muppets should be replaced by CGI versions of the characters is the same as implying that we should just get...

    Recycled Kermit

Oh, I dunno! Can't be any worse than pond water. ^_- V Mmmm, SWAMPY! That's a really cool sculpture, though. I wonder if they'll trash him after that. They should keep him as a mascot.

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock on The Hub beginning October 10, 2010

Agreed. Until we hear something else, we can only look upon it with suspicion and doubt....Unless you want to take a more Boober approach to it and go with fear and loathing. How about we just agree to kill it if it comes out wrong? It's the way of the animal kingdom, so it can work for us too.

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock on The Hub beginning October 10, 2010

BOO! NO! No CGI for Fraggle Rock! That's really going to make me spit fire! Blasphemy. They must be the real deal or it's off. None of that Smurf crap either. =.= I've got torches, pitchforks and jagged throwing stones all prepared for them should it come to that.
