Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Earlier than that, it showed up during the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Oh, and here's the U.K. version of the episode with different voices and dialogue: Why does Yellow sound like Ozzy Osbourne?

I liked the first one pretty well, and felt like it was fine as a stand-alone feature; the sequels, on the other hand. . . .

And to avoid further hurting the company they're affiliated with. It was sad to lose Kevin, but it was the best thing not only for himself, but for SST as well.

Stephanie D'Abruzzo responds about Caroll Spinney

Well, you know, Kevin was having similar problems with Elmo, but the circumstances were different: Kevin was the one who made Elmo the established character he is today. Even so, as Kevin got older, Elmo's falscetto wasn't quite as high as it was when Kevin was younger. It happens. Abby is...

    Little things we've noticed

True. I mean, home video inclusions of "We're All Monsters" has Kevin dubbing Jerry's Elmo lines, and even so, recent VHS and DVD releases of BIG BIRD IN CHINA has Marty dubbing Brian's Telly (which I really don't mind, because Brian's Telly could really get whiney to the point of being annoying).

    Little things we've noticed

Well, we did get "Me, Claudius" on the 40 years DVD.

    Little things we've noticed

Here's something new I've just recently noticed: So, whoever is performing the green DJ isn't doing that good a job, up until the last refrain, then suddenly the performance improves to the point it almost seems like a completely different performer stepped in at the last minute and switched.

Sesame Street Special "Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas"

Then you've got people like Billy Barkhurst or Paul Rugg who are experienced in voice acting, but tried to get into puppetry later on (much like Fran). Or, in Marilyn Sokol's case, she may not have been able to get the hang of the puppetry aspect, but Jim liked her voice enough to keep her on...
