There's a KENAN & KEL episode where they housesit for Chris while he's on vacation, but Kenan forgets until the day Chris is supposed to return. After Kel messes everything up, they're faced with the task of replaced the dead house plants, cleaning out the fish tank, fixing a broken bowl, oboe...
Apparently in the original version of the script for the first HOME ALONE movie, Uncle Frank actually had connections with the Wet Bandits and arranged for them to rob the McAllisters' house while they were on vacation, hence why Harry and Marv zero in on their house in the neighborhood in...
I was more upset that in the 2011 and 2014 movies, the end credits said "Based on Characters and Properties Owned by Disney," when they really should have said something to the extent of, "Based on Characters and Properties Developed by Jim Henson."
If Nostalgia Critic wore a fat suit, maybe. :P
I actually went through a goatee phase several years ago, I think there's probably a pic or two with me having it, but I'm too lazy to go digging for them, lol.
I've heard certain things such as, depending on the size/shape/weight of the prop, that usually the bending the fingers (which have wire in them) into a grip around the prop is enough of a grasp to hold it into place, and if not, a little double-face tape is added as extra ensurance.
I'm starting to think that Pat Robertson is actually obsessed with gay people . . . I've never seen one individual person just keep talking about gay people as much as he does, and he's got such cute little nicknames for them like "The Gay Mafia," not to mention he seems very knowledgable about...
So apparently, THE OFFICE is getting rebooted already, even though it wasn't that many years ago it finally ended. What's the deal? Can't the mockumentary format just die already?
Holy crap . . . if I didn't know better, I'd think Ryan and I were twins separated at birth.
But I hadn't heard about little magnets inside the hands being used as a technique to have Muppets grab/hold things, but that's really interesting - I'm guessing those would have to be really...
Michael Lembeck gives an interesting commentary for THE SANTA CLAUSE 2: I almost feel as though he actually recorded with kids listening in mind, because he actually talks about the characters (the elves, other fantasy figures, what have you) like they're real and not being played by kids or...
It's been off my PBS for over a decade now. I think they last aired it maybe 2004 or 2005, before they adopted the national PBS Kids schedule; prior to that, my PBS had its own local schedule, and usually, Mister Rogers always came on before SST: both in the morning and afternoon.
I feel exactly the same way. Sometimes, however, the contemporary references do a service by bringing newer audiences to the original work . . . Nostalgia Critic is an example of this, reminding people of movies or shows that time had forgotten, and there are some people out there who are...
It depends on the DVD Recorder.
Over ten years ago, I had a DVD Recorder that could copy copyright-protected tapes and such, however the machine would automatically distort the picture as a result: for instance, after the transfer, the copied video would look like a 240p YouTube video, not to...
In regards to Frank, a lot of his also has to do with his career as a movie director, which began to bud a few years before Jim passed away. Not to mention, as far as SST is concerned, even though for a while he was dedicated one day out of the year to come back, "just for fun," they otherwise...
