Glad it arrived in good condition! Yeah great stories, and I actually did agree with him that having the character be all pompous was funnier, lol. Having the character be a wimp made the joke too hard to explain.
Every group, whether it's religion, the media, your parents, school, or your peer group, is guilty of "brainwashing." And it's quite amusing how they all insist that they're the honest ones, lol.
It's really not that complicated actually. These men can't face their own emotions so they react...
I think this is an example of how comedians and entertainers have to keep becoming more and more outrageous in order to stay relevant. Unfortunately that often means becoming more and more mean spirited (not to mention unfunny, heh).
Yeah that was definitely very decent of him to say and I think he made a valid point. There comes a time when something's clearly not working and you have to take a step back and examine what could be done differently.
Lol, good point. Though not as wierd as having an ape with an English accent in Planet of the Apes. ;)
I think the original Shrek was very good, though I don't watch it a lot. The sequel was OK too. But beyond that more sequels were unnecessary. They should have just given him a TV series if...
I remember reading in a magazine a couple years ago about a small section of the country where the Israelis and Palestinians were managing to live together without conflict, particularly two girls who were best friends. But later in life one of the girls decided it was her duty to join the war...
Not to mention that Watto's Italian and Jar Jar...yeah. I mean what was the point of that??? It was just uncomfortable and stupid.
I know even to this day I'm confused. Sometimes it feels like you're supposed to think it's Amadalla when it's really Padme, but then oh nevermind, we didn't mean...
That's really nice! You know I feel like that's just as much a female thing as a religious thing. Women always need to form these cliques and snip at each other, heh.
Can't argue with that. ;)
Actually I read that people booed and walked out on Morgan, so thankfully there are some people who recognize when comedians take things too far (to say the least!)
There was also that comedian who thought it was funny to joke about shooting Sarah Palin if she were elected President. I'm sorry...
Agree about the pod race and Darth Maul. Also if the random offensive stereotypes had been removed. And if the dialogue hadn't been painful to listen to. Then it would have been a much better movie indeed. :)
It's OK, what he said was was that there had been a celebration the night before and he "didn't quite feel up to it." ; ) Hehe. So you're fine, it's not a big deal. :)
The wierd thing is though, there are many other films that have had multiple directors and/or writers, yet ended up being classics. In fact, multiple directors and writers used to be the norm in Hollywood! So I guess part of Little Nemo's problem was just bad luck, but also the lack of any kind...
Well Nostalgia Critic reviewed Little Nemo this week! I have to say I love learning about these animated films with controversial pasts, such as this one and also Thief and the Cobbler. It's tragic how attempts at doing more mature and creative animation often encounter such difficulties. While...
Exactly and I'm concerned that Obama doesn't seem to get that. It feels like he thinks diplomacy and concessions are all it will take to get peace declared. Sadly it's not that simple. There will always be people who just won't want peace. What will he do then? I think he has no idea.
Yes...
It feels like you do care though. I'm sorry if I'm mistaken and I don't mean to harp on this but that's how it's coming across. It does feel like you're taking sides.
He's a politican. The right thing to them is getting votes, period.
Well again, you say you're not taking sides, but then you seem to mostly blame Israel.
