    The "You know what?" thread

So not just The Chipmunks, but also Sid & Marty Krofft are receiving a star on the Walk of Fame this year, along with an eclectic list that included Robert DeNiro, Candice Bergan, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and many others...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

This is the main reason why I almost always prefer figures from an overall design perspective, but even then, figures aren't always 100% perfect, but they're certainly more likely to be than plushes.

D'Snowth's Scale Model of Sesame Street

I do my best, though it's not always easy. There's been a couple of years (not consecutively, mind you) where it was significantly damaged during moving. One year, seemingly beyond repair, and I just left it a shambles, because that also happened to be Season 39 when they made a number of...

    Ehhhh. . . . I'll Bite

You mean besides "Bruce Hornsby is a beautiful woman"? :p I think that would involve whatever visions you've had of me running around naked and screaming. :p Nah, I never really watched a whole lot of Fox Kids . . . unless BOBBY'S WORLD counts. You can reference my Top 11 Favorite Episodes...

    Little things we've noticed

Now that my scale model is lit, it's brought to mind something I've noticed for a long time: the Street had some rather poor lighting in the beginning, and that was something that lasted well through the 70s and into the 80s . . . but by the mid-80s, the lighting slowly, yet gradually continued...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

To be fair, this is really becoming a problem with a lot of musical outlets anymore, which is something @fuzzygobo has brought up in another thread. Broadcast radio, for example, is becoming increasingly notorious for playing the exact same songs every single day (and some occasions, multiple...

D'Snowth's Scale Model of Sesame Street

For years, I kept trying to figure out how I could go about lighting my model, since the surrounding lamps in my room would only cover certain parts of it, while leaving others in shadows. At one point, I even considered constructing some sort of a makeshift miniature lighting grid, using the...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Yes, they were the precursor to cassette tapes.

    What made you think today?

How is that any different from any other time you do that?

    What made you think today?

Funny thing is, Marty Krofft recently did an interview about how after all these decades, he and Sid have never sold out, pointing out that the only other company never to do that in Hollywood is Disney . . . but I don't even know if Marty - or even Sid - are aware Disney doesn't have to sell...

    What made you think today?

Aww man, I just released something: with Disney buying 20th/21st Century Fox, that means not only would my favorite show be a Disney property, but my two favorite movies would be as well. This is making my head hurt!

    Ugh. I hate the DMV.

    YouTube Poops

Since I've been adding my nuked YTPs to Google Drive, I resurrected my old Hey Arnold poop from 2012 that Viacom struck down: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E3T34XsBTmH21MLxG_NrS4bhJgMBus6_/view?usp=sharing

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

It happens. For whatever reason, JHC's official upload of Emmet Otter bloopers has been blocked by the Church of Latter-Day Saints. Even Sid & Marty Kroffts' official uploads of Mutt & Stuff are being blocked by Viacom.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I think there's been the odd occasion or two in the past where even SW's official uploads were blocked by these other parties.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Well, a lot of today's biggest musical artists launched their careers on YouTube: Justin Bieber, Christina Grimmie, Lindsey Stirling, Pentatonix, so maybe they see it as an outlet they can further profit from, I don't know.
