Well, in some cases, yeah, probably 16 (that actually hasn't been too uncommon down here in the south for decades), but I'm thinking more like as young as 11-13, since some Evangelicals actually say that girls should be legally allowed to marry if they've already had their first period at those...
Yeah. The way each generation is forced to grow up faster than the one before, I wouldn't be surprised. The Evangelicals may soon get their way, and child brides may actually be socially acceptable in the next 10-20 years. :eek:
I don't know about Humphrey, but didn't Benny end up getting shipped out as a Muppet character for one of the international co-productions? I'm pretty sure the same thing happened to Narf.
I still wish I was able to do his TV show, along with actually bringing Bethany Crystal, The Squirrely Squirrels, and other character to life . . . I feel like that's what he really needs, is other characters for him to interact with.
I wouldn't mind doing more things with Steve, but honestly, I felt the magic had already fizzled out by the time I did his final season, which is one of the reason I stopped doing his regular series when I did, and have only used him in certain projects since then.

I find it a little ironic that people have been asking me for more of Steve D'Monster lately, because it's like his viewership dropped considerably toward the end of when I was regularly producing his videos.
To be fair, purple was a color that wasn't recorded well by those early videotape cameras, and it may have given off a more washed-out magenta look to it . . . this is why Oscar ended up being orange instead of purple like Jim intended.
@fuzzygobo talking about line-cutting in another thread brings to mind another pet peeve of mine, that I really shouldn't say anything about. . . .
