Lol, thank you, I feel better now! I mean I must say I'm impressed how they really went for it and didn't hold back, but still, lol. ;)
I remember that and I think I first learned that phrase from this show.
Yeah I love her love/hate/mostly hate relationship with the Queen, lol.
Definitely...
You know I was thinking the other day, I recall watching the AIW Halloween episode as a kid and actually being scared when the Hare turns into the "werehare," lol. Having seen the episode again recently, I'm pretty sure at some point they went back and edited that scene during reruns because I...
Yeah and it does make sense when you think about it. They were trying to get across the idea that Kansas was drab and gray and Oz was colorful and bright. And silver just would have been too reminiscent of the gray. It's one of those examples of why it's so difficult to turn a book into a movie...
See that's what I liked about their group dynamics on The Muppet Show. They considered characters like Sam or Statler and Waldorf to be members of the family, despite their occasional, um, disapproval of the show, lol.
Being confrontational isn't really my cup of tea either, lol. You don't have to stop being supportive, but you actually have a good excuse that you have midterms to study for and you want to be the responsible grown up and get them done. ;)
Well to be fair, they knew it was silver shoes, they just didn't think they looked nice on screen, lol. Aesthetics took a back seat to accuracy. ;)
But even when they have put the Tweedles in their proper context (such as the 1985 film which puts them in the "Looking Glass" half of the story)...
I talk to friends who don't mind my venting once and awhile, heh. And if I can't actually be a Fraggle, I do the next best thing and pop in a DVD, usually one I haven't seen in awhile so it's something fresh and distracting. But bottom line, don't let other people's problems interfere with your...
Yeah I always liked them too, in fact they're pretty much the only version of the Tweedles I've ever liked, lol. Usually they're just too goofy and annoying for me. But in this version the Tweedles are actually the ones with the common sense and I enjoyed their sibling rivalry as well.
They...
Yay, we've got one half of the Tweedles! Lol. Yeah I'm also glad a lot of people remember AIW fondly.
I remember I found this a couple years ago, a fan did an interview with Reece Holland, who played the March Hare, very interesting!
Questionnaire For the Hare...
It's random but I grew up watching Muppets Take Manhattan and my first memory of Statler and Waldorf has always been:
:boo:Hey, look, Waldorf. It's the frog and the pig.
:sleep:Yeah, it looks like they're in love.
:boo:Yeah.
:sleep:Kinda makes you sick, doesn't it?
::laughs::
:sleep...
Oh sorry, lol. :oBut thanks! :)
Oh absolutely, I'm still amazed when I see him. Btw if anyone's seen the Cats musical video, he also played Old Deuteronomy (and was also in the original Broadway cast of Cats).
Oh yeah that's a good one. It's one of the episodes The Paley Center for Media uses to represent the show. Regarding Crystal, I especially love how its always changing locations in the series, depending on plot convenience, lol.
I remember watching a behind the scenes segment about this...
