TV characters that remind you of the Sesame Street Muppets

YES!!! I've been saying this ever since that flippin' movie came out, but the only reaction/response I ever get to that statement is a pisha.

Noticeable Changes to the set over the years

Going through the Wiki, I've figured out the timeline for the gradual overhauling of the Arbor area during the late 80s/early 90s: - Season 19: The backdrop behind the fence is completely replaced, and the brick alphabet facade is a textured structure at the beginning of the season. Also, the...

I do believe I've finally found my absolute favorite Google Chrome theme.

    Matt Vogel as Forgetful Jones!

Seriously, Matt is one of the best performers around today! He can channel Caroll Spinney, Jerry Nelson, and even Richard Hunt, while also invoking himself into other characters as well.

    2020 Democratic candidates

I'm just thankful that unlike 2016, there are more than just two candidates in the Democratic party to choose from. But, heh, I see where some people are already jumping on the bandwagon, as with Trump, to proclaim that Kamala Harris was chosen by God Himself. I still foresee her becoming the...

Education is never usually a priority of theirs, no. In fact, for whatever reason, they're all about border security right now . . . as if we're even a border state, and somehow directly affected by illegal immigration.

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

For the first time ever in all the years I've had a Facebook account, I login this morning and to discover I don't have one single unread notification. Not a single one. That is a first.

Nope. Poor education, poor economy, high poverty, and high crime rate. Apparently the only part of this state that's booming or thriving is Nashville; the rest of the state is tanking.

Boy, is this forum dead today or what?

It's considerable. Because you always act like you're right about everything and so above it all, when you're really not.

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

So I finally got around to shooting my submission for their Sunny Days sing-along video, but the only thing was I had to downgrade it a bit, because their Terms and Conditions say to keep the file size under 100MB, and with my camera being able to film in HD, the file size was over twice that large.

Kevin Bishop, a.k.a. Jim Hawkins from MTI, is the current voice of 2D from Gorillaz. Sort of.

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

Unfortunately, that wouldn't sell. Too many of the show's prominent/core Muppets haven't been around since Season 1, like Elmo, Telly, Abby. Unless they marketed this specifically toward older fans and such (like the Old School DVD volumes), maybe, but I'm sure they would want to market to as...

    Steve Whitmire 2018 Convention Appearances

Yeah, when I attended his panel last summer, a kid asked if he would say something like Ernie, but he declined out of respect. Although, when I was in line at his table, the people in front of me brought a homemade Kermit puppet that he tried on, and he did, albeit briefly and quietly, say...

Well, 1,000 Eyes said it was a message board, but it's not. This is a message board - it's what forums used to be called before they were called forums. Discord is not a message board.

    Little things we've noticed

I honestly never could tell if the way the top ledge of this skyscaper dropping down on this particular backdrop was a painting mistake, or an intentional design:

Boy, is this forum dead today or what?

How do you figure that? You can't even access a Discord server without a link, and even so, you still have to be invited and approved to even view the server. It's kind of like saying it's easier to walk into a private country club than it is a public park.
