But that was a big, noticeable change. The early episodes were nothing like that. It's so upsetting when a show ends up selling out like that, especially a kid's show.
Fairly Odd Parents will go down in history for me as Biggest, Backstabbing, Disappointment Ever. That show started off so well, I loved it, and then just degenerated into cruel, non funny "humor" with absolutely zero message. It should just be put out of its misery.
I have to agree, it was physically painful for me to try and watch that show. :ouch:
I liked Danny better. It never became a regular thing for me, but some episodes were actually very sweet. :)
Which is fine, I just don't want them giving me some psychological hogwash about them being "dangerous." The whole thing was insulting to my intelligence and contributing to the degradation of our popular culture saying children should stay away from anything old.

Definitely, I think that's what's missing from our pop culture art today. Our pop culture avoids pain, or pretends to have pain but doesn't have a clue.
I don't know if a woman could never play Piggy; bottom line it would just have to be someone who is able to see the humor in a diva sort of character and not worry about being politically correct, yet also make her vulnerable.
