Hey, does anyone know of any place on the 'Net where I can download those old GI Joe Public Service Announcements where at the end they'd say "Knowing is half the battle"? I've seen ones where someone dubbed different voices over them and they're really funny but now I wanna see the real thing...
Yeah, I don't think the Back Stage will come in the red, since everything is now in the blue. Another reason why I liked the red over the blue (referring to the Swedish Chef that is) is because it shows all the Series 3 figures, not just the Chef.
It didn't snap back in, it broke :( But fortunately it still stands w/o it being attached! :) And you definitely should open the figures if you're gonna display them. They're not fragile. I've only had a few breaks, some were my fault, a few were not my fault. The ones that were my fault were...
Sam the Eagle is my favorite out of the regular four. That's right I finally got 'em in the mail today! :) They're all really cool. With Sam the Eagle, you can only use one of the four stickers they give you right? And I love the copy of the Constitution that comes w/ him. Plus the speech on...
I think what you mean is "Toys R Us still has Miss Piggy..." because isn't that all there really is of series 1? Actually at my Toys R Us they managed to get rid of all the Series 1 but a while ago all they had was Kermit and Miss Piggy. But mainly Miss Piggy.
That's neat how they did the box change. Of course, I like the red packaging better, and I was fortunate enough to get a red one from eBay. Same thing with the Christmas Carol PVCs, we were lucky to find 'em at Barnes and Noble (and they were cheap too :) )
If I were you, I'd order Series 8 if you could find it anywhere on the 'Net. 'Cause it'll turn out to be that you just can't find them any more :sympathy: (and yes, that would stink ;) )
Yeah, I'm definitely buying them too! And just to be on the safe side, I pre-ordered Pops, Fozzie, and Swedish Chef from ebgames.com and once I finish doing some odd jobs around the house, my dad said he'd order me backstage! And as soon as ebgames.com decides to put up the regular version of...
Favorite Muppet quotes: There are just so many of them! :)
Favorite characters: Gonzo, Rizzo, Kermit, Sam the Eagle, the Electric Mayhem, Scooter, Rowlf, Statler and Waldorf, Pepe, and Fozzie.
Favorite movie: Muppet Treasure Island.
Favorite song: Either "Can you picture that?" or...
some of these may be coming out or not, but these are just ones I want:
-The pirate Gonzo and Rizzo 2-pack
-Sal
-Bobo the Bear (maybe even his Muppets From Space role)
-and maybe some characters in their movie roles.
