Jim spent nearly a year working on TIME PIECE in his spare time, and if you pay really, really close attention, it actually kind of shows: the length of his hair and beard vary throughout - it's especially noticable when he's working in the tin can factory, where his beard is suddenly fuller...
Kind of like conservative Christians: they have a deep love for their religion, but glance over the lessons Jesus taught that they're supposed to follow.

I was bullied as a kid, but I always received conflicting signals from this message.
My friends told me the exact same thing you're saying; my parents, on the other hand, said the exact opposite, because "standing up to the bully" = "just inviting more trouble on yourself." Their message...

I confess having similar feelings myself in years past - especially throughout the last decade or so. Seeing how both of my parents' overall physical health has really deteriorated in recent years, and knowing they're both kind of dependent on me now, I almost feel as though without me, how...
And clearly, the episodes they put on DVD didn't come from any kind of master materials or anything - they look exactly the way they appear on Nick from broadcast tapes or something.
At least Seasons 2-4 got some decent little special features.
