    Little things we've noticed

Jim spent nearly a year working on TIME PIECE in his spare time, and if you pay really, really close attention, it actually kind of shows: the length of his hair and beard vary throughout - it's especially noticable when he's working in the tin can factory, where his beard is suddenly fuller...

No, you said thousands of AM elves would show up magically at our doorsteps with digital copies of every single SS episode in hand.

Kind of like conservative Christians: they have a deep love for their religion, but glance over the lessons Jesus taught that they're supposed to follow.

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

I was bullied as a kid, but I always received conflicting signals from this message. My friends told me the exact same thing you're saying; my parents, on the other hand, said the exact opposite, because "standing up to the bully" = "just inviting more trouble on yourself." Their message...

What is your favorite Sid and Marty Krofft shows?

Here's an interesting little video Sid short for Comic-Con this year, about the origins of H.R. Pufnstuf: There's a bit of a noticable impediment in his speech, I wonder if he must be getting over a stroke or something. Either way, he just turned 90 this year!!

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Not really much of a tea fan (which I know is sacreligious, considering sweet tea is like Nectar of the Gods around here). But yeah, I've heard that there are all kinds of teas (particularly green teas) that supposed do wonders for one's health.

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

That I'm not certain of. All I know is it's kind of a big issue here . . . with this being a red state, our officials, of course, assume making it legal will just result in everybody in the state turning into pot heads, so of course they're not going to go for that. Which is ironic, because...

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

I don't think my blood pressure medicine is working anymore. Last night as I laid in bed trying to sleep, I swear it felt like my whole body was going to explode from throbbing so much and my heart was pounding as if I had run a double marathon - the whole bed was nearly shaking.

Freleng's work tended to be a lot more manic and chaotic, with plenty of physical, often times violent humor.

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

Remember, Caroll based Oscar's voice on a cab driver with a large cigar in one corner of his mouth, and speaking out the other corner - I think that accounts for the "snarl" face he makes when doing Oscar.

The new What Made You Smile Today thread

I confess having similar feelings myself in years past - especially throughout the last decade or so. Seeing how both of my parents' overall physical health has really deteriorated in recent years, and knowing they're both kind of dependent on me now, I almost feel as though without me, how...

And clearly, the episodes they put on DVD didn't come from any kind of master materials or anything - they look exactly the way they appear on Nick from broadcast tapes or something. At least Seasons 2-4 got some decent little special features.
