I watched that recently. Occasionally it was good, I thought the parents were very funny. And sometimes the friendship between boy and snake was cute. Like others have said, a few too many toilet humor jokes for my liking, but then again the target audience is children who find that kind of...
Absolutely. :)
Lol, thanks. The death scene did feel forced but I will say I enjoyed Kirk and Spock's early, developing friendship here. If they just give it a chance to grow in a third film I think it has potential. :)
Not a generational thing in my case, I wasn't even born when WofK was in theaters. I guess it's just more about what you're looking for in a movie. I don't need that many action scenes, I prefer character moments. Takes all sorts, right? :)
Chekov's always been my favorite character so all I...
I wouldn't say that around too many Trekkies, including me. ;)
Star Trek has never been about pure action. Its charm was always its emphasis on witty dialogue and character moments.
To this day the last scene between Kirk and Spock in Wrath of Khan makes me cry. Into Darkness' attempt to...
VH1 and Disney Channel are the ones that disappointed and saddened me the most when they changed. It's like that song "You paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
I liked the movie...back in 1982 when it was Wrath of Khan, lol.
But seriously, I liked the actors a lot better this time but they were under served by a messy, mediocre script.

I thought that was very well done actually. I liked that it turned out the human cast member also had a relative in jail. Above all, kids need to know they aren't alone and that there are always other people who will understand what they're going through.
Oh I know I hate this trend lately of encouraging people to use their names online. The Internet is great but it's not safe, it's the freakin Wild West and you have to be careful how much info you give away.
Ah yes, I saw the promo for this show this morning...interesting, lol. The promo said he's dressed like a girl, that sounds like crossing dressing to me but they might have just been trying to explain the concept to kids without making it complicated. I'd have to watch an actual episode to be...
It's like how even though they knew everyone hated Jar Jar Binks, they stubbornly kept him in the other prequels anyway (though briefly). Sometimes these creator types don't want to admit they screwed up, ever.
Again, it's good that they address those topics, but the execution doesn't grab me (nor would it have when I was a child). And Elmo is like Mickey Mouse, I never found him particularly funny, even as a child.
It's partially a concern about backlash, I agree, but it also just feels like your...
