I actually got my set last week... but only started watching it a day or so ago (what can I say... Simpsons season 10 came out the same day ;) ) and I like what I've seen so far! Problem is my disc one has a scratch on it... which I didn't think would be too much of a problem but apparently my...
Haha thanks, "Homer's Enemy" is my number one favorite episode of all time, followed by "You Only Move Twice"
Speaking of which, I know Russ Cargill and Hank Scorpio are both voiced by A. Brooks, so every time Russ Cargill spoke, I thought of Hank Scorpio. Especially at the part when he was...
It was an absolutely fantastic movie!
I loved everything about it, but there were some things that disappointed me:
-First of all, there was no Sideshow Bob. He's my favorite Simpsons character of all time, so that was kind of sad that he wasn't in it.
-Mr. Burns and Smithers were...
Thanks guys! So yeah I also have a complete Lord of the Rings figure set (I posted a thread in the General Discussion forum) ... well it's really like 99.9999% complete 'cause there are a few cases where they re-released some new figures with like extra weapons and stuff... and I need a few more...
Well, I just managed to get myself a Zoot figure on eBay! Mint on card and everything! It cost me $99.45 including insurance but I'd say it was worth it to complete my Muppet figure collection. And by complete, I mean have all the regular-release figures minus the repaints.
WOO HOO! :D
I don't even know if I saw Muppet Christmas Carol in theaters... I was 4 years old in 1992 lol. But I did own the tape (until the DVDs were made... it was the only Muppet movie I owned!) so yeah I grew up with "When Love Is Gone" IN the movie. It was the weirdest thing for me when I got the...
Just starting? Good luck my friend!
I was fortunate in that I only started collecting when Series 4 started (you can thank Mr. Samuel Arrow for that... seeing him was what put me over the edge and said "ok, I'm collecting this line") so I was able to get most of the earlier ones no problem...
Well, looks like my whining paid off! I placed a bid on an Animal with Electric Mayhem stage playset for $40 and got outbid... but then was given a second chance offer! So I got the playset for $40... but the shipping was $31. The seller made a bit of an error because they said shipping would...
Yeah, Clifford's pretty awesome. I guess I consider him one of the Muppet characters that I "grew up" with.
He was on that old Sing-A-Long tape "It's Not Easy Bein' Green" and had his shades and everything.
His action figure is awesome too!
It's awesome how his Sark voice in Kingdom Hearts II was pretty much the same as Shockwave from Transformers.
Very talented man, I love his Captain Hook!
Definitely my Palisades Muppet figures. I complain a lot about not having the Electric Mayhem stage with Animal and Zoot, but when you think about that means I have every other (non-exclusive) figure (minus some of the repaints). I'm particularly proud of myself for having all three versions of...
Well, some of them (at least Series 1 and 2, maybe 3, and then later on 6 and 7 I think) were available at Toys R Us, which is where I got my Kermit, Gonzo, Beaker with Muppet Labs, and Dr. Teeth (amazingly I might add) figures. That's also where I got Johnny in the maroon suit.
Specialty...
Personally, I think putting The Muppet Show on Disney Channel (DURING REASONABLE HOURS) would be a step in the right direction. What better way to introduce all the great characters than the way WE were introduced to them? Maybe put Muppet Babies on Playhouse Disney or something too. Does it...
Yeah I've read that too, which is a total bummer IMO.
Actually I just did a search for Scooter and all I could find was Superhero Scooter and Usher Scooter figures... I guess I should stop whining huh? :p
Seriously though I am glad to have a lot of the really cool stuff I do have, such as...
Animal with the Electric Mayhem Stage and Zoot!
I mean, seriously, these are the last 2 I need to complete my collection (well... by that I mean have all the regular release figures, so that excludes repaints and exclusives) and looking on eBay there are very few auctions with those...
Well, I'll DEFINITLELY be picking up Labyrinth since I love love love that movie. I'm not too sure about Dark Crystal, I mean I like it and I already own it on DVD, so I may not upgrade till it goes down in price.
Great news though!
