This is awesome.. I can't wait! Hopefully they'll do what they did with Muppet Christmas Carol and release a Blu-ray with a digital copy and NOT a DVD (I've already got two different DVDs... I don't need another one. I'd rather have a digital copy for my phone :P )
I'm not really big into Thanksgiving (just a bunch of stupid personal reasons to be honest) but last year, when The Muppets came out right before Thanksgiving... it totally gave me something to look forward to during that time of year. It was such a great movie and I loved every bit of it.
My...
Holy. crap.
I can't believe how much Lips is going for! :O I bought mine when they first came out so I only paid regular retail price for them.
I guess I should be thankful I was able to get all three variants back a few years ago.
As for which is the best? I definitely like the white...
I can't really think of a lot of different things I'd want to do at the moment... but I know for sure that I would have to do SOMETHING with Gonzo! That would just be too amazing :D
I do have some skill with the trumpet, I could see enjoying a trumpet duo with Lips!
This i great!! After all these years of watching that movie it's nice to finally hear what they're saying!!
Now I'm wondering why I never bothered to look for that on YouTube myself >_>
Also... why did they drown out the voices in the American version anyway? lol
I know he doesn't perform anymore (which is a shame, I think he's a great performer... face/voice of Hoggle, characters on Dinosaurs, and his own Muppets especially Sal!) but is he doing anything with the Muppets at all? And how come he doesn't perform anymore?
Wizard of Oz is probably my least-watched of all the Muppet movies... that's not to say I didn't like it, but just not as much as some of their other stuff.
I gotta say that probably the stand-out thing for this movie was Scooter's performance! The performer (Ricky Boyd right?) did such an...
While I absolutely LOVED The Muppets (best movie since Toy Story 3 and hasn't been topped by anything I've seen since.... but The Hobbit hasn't been released yet ;) ) I have to agree that Frank Oz does make a point.
But I think for The Muppets to work it needed to play it somewhat safe. This...
The video tape I used to rent from the local video store (before I got the DVD) was the tape that had the audio with no lyrics during Night Life, and no "RENOIR!!"
Imagine my surprise when I first got it on DVD O_o
I payed a little under $100 for my Zoot, yellow shirt and MOC. Kinda scary how I consider that to be a good deal >_>
It was great though, I saw it on eBay and it had a few days to go and I just put in a ridiculously high bid and said to myself "Well, THIS is what I'm willing to pay, and if I...
As much as I would've loved to get Sal (and, honestly, we really needed him becuase we have Johnny) I'd still probably rather have Bobo, so that's who I voted for :P
This was such an amazing line of figures, I've got "complete enough" collection. I have one of every regular-release figure, some...
Yeah that was totally awesome! Bill was absolutey INCREDIBLE as Dr. Teeth in this! The other performers were great too, but Bill really shined (and isn't it funny how the only member who hasn't had to be recast is Zoot- the one who rarely ever talks? haha)
I love the soundtrack, "Life's a Happy Song" and "Man or Muppet" are definitely the best, but they're all good.
And I always get goosebumps right when the Electric Mayhem and the other Muppets join Kermit singing "Pictures in My Head".
