I'm watching Muppet Treasure Island right now since it's Talk Like a Pirate Day, and I really can't wait for the Blu-ray. The DVD looks... okay... but I know it'll look SO much better in high definition.
That would be cool, but I only meant Lips taking Gonzo's place in that they're both trumpet players. But Animal and Big Mo can share a stage and they're both drummers so I don't see why there can't be two trumpet players too lol.
I'm really loving the new stage, definitely my favorite one so far! The bass in that one's song is so awesome.
Although I hope if there's another stage on its way at some point (I can't imagine there not being one, or this game will get really old really fast lol) they let us have ALL the...
Very cool read. Dave Goelz is such an amazing person, I love that he's the last member of the "original 5" core group of performers, and I suppose the fact that he performs my favorite character (Gonzo) probably makes me like him even more haha.
Here's one thing that annoyed me (that I recently found out). According to the Muppet Wiki, there was a shot filmed where John Krasinski and Sam the Eagle trade glances at the camera. As a fan of both The Office and Sam's hilarious looks, I would've LOVED to have seen this in the final film.
I love the new stage and Dr. Teeth is so awesome. I've already digitized him, Animal, and Sam the Eagle.
Do you stop leveling up at 20? Because I hit 20 and it doesn't look like I'm gaining experience. But I'm not sure if that's just because it takes a lot of experience to get to 21 (so much...
I just digitized Kermit in the Kitchen :D now all I have to do is gain experience and make money while I wait for the next stage lol.
Annoying thing: one of the tasks that I have left is "get a Muppet to level 15". My Gonzo on the theater stage is already at level 15 >__> guess I'll just have...
Yeah that is annoying, but I think that's the whole point, they want you to keep trying to digitize the main Muppets, but you have to keep trying. It adds replay value I suppose. And at least you gain experience every time you place a newly digitized Muppet on a stage.
I finally got Walter for...
I'm still trying to digitize Walter in the kitchen, and then Kermit next obviously. I'm on level 18 now. Can't wait for the new stage.
I keep comparing this to The Simpsons Tapped Out. I don't know if that's a fair comparison, but honestly these are the only two iPhone "tapping games" that...
I completed the main stage :D Fozzie was the last one I needed. I still need Gonzo, Rizzo, Walter, and Kermit for the Swedish Chef kitchen.
I wonder what the third stage is going to be! It still just says "coming soon" lol. I'm hoping we get to see Dr. Teeth and Janice at some point!
I actually really like this game. It seems sort of "easier" to get stuff than it is in The Simpsons Tapped Out game, so I like that lol. I just got Mahna Mahna for my main stage, I just need Fozzie now.
I wish there wasn't a "cap" on the amount of money that your characters make, that way if...
Yeah, honestly I had to look up Ed Koch's cameo in Muppets Take Manhattan online because for the life of me I couldn't remember that part (and I've seen MTM a ton of times lol). I don't think it's THAT big of a cameo or distraction as an "'80s" thing lol.
I honestly don't know anything about Sony's distribution rights for the soundtrack (though I would assume that they're responsible for that too)... but I would definitely by a soundtrack from that movie. There are so many great songs that I'd love to put with my music!
Yeah fortunately nowadays people are actually smarter and informed about things like original aspect ratios. Honestly I can't believe it was ever even a thing that movies were chopped up for home video release. I'm so glad I learned the importance of OAR before I really started buying DVDs ~ten...
I'm watching it right now (I'm at Steve Martin's scene haha, I am extremely impressed with the picture quality! Muppet movies always seem to look fantastic on Blu-ray... you can see the puppets' textures so well.
I'm now looking even more forward to Great Muppet Caper and Myppet Treasure...
I should be getting mine in the mail today (along with the movie on Blu-ray). I'm really excited! I've wanted the full soundtrack for quite some time now, it was cool that some of the songs got released on the "Music, Mayhem, and More!" CD but it's always nice to have the full soundtrack.
It...
I also thought Johnny was a great character, he had one of my favorite moments in MFS ("who cut this cake?" scene lol). And he was great in Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and Wizard of Oz too!
Since Brian Henson isn't doing anything with the Muppets anymore, I agree that they should recast...
