What made you roll your eyes today thread?

You know who else are false teachers? All of these Evangelicals who are claiming that Trump is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and that Trump will be sitting at the right hand of God in Heaven. Not only is that false prophecy (which the Bible also warns us of), it's also blasphemous . . . for...

The "I Did Something Stupid Today" Thread

I noticed Muppet Wiki didn't have an article page for Paul Rugg, so I wrote one up and everything, and just as I was in the process of creating the page, I saw an alert on the Wiki that indicated that there once was a page for him on the Wiki, but that it had been deleted by Scott because he...

Seinfeld on Nick at Nite: Would YOU Watch?

They did in the 2000s and into the mid-New Tens or so . . . then they started getting into producing their own trashy "sitcoms," and became obsessed with Seth MacFarlane shows and THE BIG DANG THEORY, that SEINFELD ended up basically being all but completely phased out.

Seinfeld on Nick at Nite: Would YOU Watch?

No, because I have the seasons I enjoy on DVD, completely uncut, and presented in their standard aspect ratio, as opposed to how butchered and cropped they are in 16:9. On that note though, I can't believe that neither TV Land or Nick@Nite ever aired SEINFELD . . . I guess TBS really had the...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

I'm still anxiously awaiting when will be in the 60s for the highs; in the days before Climate Change, we'd usually have a couple of days or so in the 60s towards the tail-end of September, but those days are long gone.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Oh lord, I hope not either - that was a first, even for us last year, but it was an absolutely terrible experience. I've been thanking God every night this month so far that things are back to being seasonable this year: our leaves are even gradually starting to change color and fall already...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Okay, wait just a minute . . . you're even further south than I am, how have you guys been in the 70s, while we've been up in the 80s? But otherwise, yes, so far, September has finally been normal again this year, and I swear, I have been ensconced in pure, unadulterated bliss because of it . ...

    The Old Cartoon Network Thread

I think a lot of it had to do with what a sudden and unexpected change it was, unlike Powerhouse, which they more or less eased into by gradually transitioning from Checkerboard. Also, to me at least, Powerhouse is what really made Cartoon Network what it was, and really brought the personality...

Her legs are nice to look at, I'll say that much.

    The Funny Picture Thread

I forgot about this being in my camera roll, but I shot this a long time ago: Hey, at least they're being honest about the difference between good and best.

    Dame Diana Rigg [1938-2020]

Really sad loss, she really brought a great balance of humor and smarts to the character of Lady Holiday.

How the frog is a cross-country road trip for a girl looking to get an abortion a comedy?! Is this an Adam Sandler production or something, since he thinks student-teacher sexual relationships are funny?

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

I was calling to cancel an appointment that's scheduled for Monday afternoon, and the receptionist I spoke to was incredibly rude and unprofessional - she didn't even allow me to explain why I was canceling my appointment, or that I would call and reschedule a new one if I feel it necessary, she...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

I think that's the main reason why we've got the likes of Tartakovsky and Feiss working their way up to major studios like Sony, or how McCracken continues to keep getting new work regardless of what network he creates a new show for - they've got clout and connections. Dilworth and Antonucci...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

Indie as in independent. Because Dilly always worked for himself in his own company, as opposed to any of the other aforementioned animators who actually worked directly for the networks.
